Wonderful view over the water except the car parking area desperately needs a makeover. Old garden areas are matted with weeds that are rampantly out of order! The park area is well maintained except the loos are a fair walk over the grass. Not good for anyone with a disability like me with a ‘drop foot’. A footpath if crushed rock would be an improvement!

Waranga Shores Picnic Area
It's a nice little spot that you could chill and relax at, and if you wanted to, bring a group over. The picnic area is a peaceful, open space, and there is a view of the basin with some benches where you could sit and read a book, or just take it all in for a moment. It's good.

A delightful rest place and picnic ground by the shore of Waranga Basin; where you may enjoy the views, a short walk and fresh air! As you enter the gateway from the highway, look out for the narrow gauge railway lines on your right, a relic of the construction railway used for the Dam construction in the 1920's
