I had a great experience at Spotlight Toowoomba today thanks to Wayne in the curtain section. Without him I still would have been walking around totally lost. He made it as easy as ABC and new exactly what I wanted. He was quite busy and handled the pressure with ease. It's always great to be served by staff that know their stuff, for the rest of my windows I know where to turn to. Thank you Wayne for being so professional and so patient. A real pleasure to have been served by you.

The quality of the quilting fabric is appalling. When i compare what I bought today from purchases of american fabric from a few years ago, the spotlight fabric is rough, loosely woven and coarse. To spend so much time and money to make a quilt! I don't think their fabrics will last more than a handful of washes. And there's nothing soft about the fabric.

This Spotlight store gets a 3 based on the fact they seem to be well-stocked. That's where the positives end. If you need help, you will struggle to find anyone here. You have to line up just to ask someone where an item is or get assistance. Otherwise, you'll be wandering aimlessly around the store.There is a staff member here that also has severe body odour. Surely Spotlight know who he is. But, I've been here on separate occasions and that staff member in question near the fabric area usually has smelled. It's not pleasant to be blasted with intense body odour when you're shopping for something.They are severely understaffed here. The line at the checkout is always extremely long because I have only ever seen two registers open at once here.

Ordered a click and collect. Had three items to be picked. When opened only had two items. When I rang the store the lady was rude and no help told me to ring customer service, which I did they were more helpful. Will not use spotlight toowoomba again.

The staff were friendly when I asked where something was and the stock levels were good, there weren’t empty shelves everywhere and stock everywhere. The store was very neat and was a pleasure to be in.Thanks heaps spotlight :)

Good range of fabrics. Very helpful advice. Was able to complete a small lining job after visiting here and supercheap. It's great they are so close together

Shout out to Anna at the Toowoomba store! Absolutely awesome chick! I've had a tough time of it in the last few days and was trying to get a refund but all of my cards had been cancelled due to fraud. When I felt others were non helpful and saying too bad, Anna was non judgemental, friendly, and genuinely wanted the right outcome for me, the customer. She was trying to come up with apternative solutions and was willing to wait while I worked it out with the banks. Employee of the year!!!Spotlight and all other retailers, you need to come up with a solution when a customer has the original bank card they purchased the item with but cannot use it because it has been cancelled due to a scam.

Carried out work here on behalf of ibuild, nearly 2 months and i have still not been paid, hoping the Spotlight brand will use their leverage to get me paid as this has happened to all my invoices for ibuild. I think you should be aware this is their standard operating method.
