Had mullet and chips. Fish was delicious and the chips were some of the best I've ever had. Burgers were great too. Well worth a stop for the food and to soak up the local atmosphere.

Super Perfect - Liked it very muchNevertheless we came very late (after 10 - we've got lost and did not find any open campsite) we were welcomed very friendly. Could stay with RV the night on powered site. Slept very well and the breakfast was a really good surprice. Everything very tasty and price was good. Got some nice tips for travel on Great Ocean Road we followed.Greetings from the meanwhile returned two Australia travellers from Germany :)

Love the originality of this place. Mostly backpackers/foreigners serving behind the counter so they make for an interesting chat. They are always friendly and can cook some tasty food. The memorabilia around the place is very cool and the pictures of the fishing expeditions just as cool.

Stopped here for lunch today. A bit isolated and spooky I thought but what a lovely meal served by a young Dutch man. We recommend the mullet meal. I would go back.

Arrived at the roadhouse just after Adam had closed for a couple of months. He could not have been more helpful. I grew up on the Coorong at Salt Creek and had not been back for many years. Adam organised for me to visit so many of the places I remembered which are now owned by different people. A wonderful trip back in time for me! Thank you Adam. Hope that your hard work pays off and that Salt Creek is put back on the map once more.

Had a lovely time at the Roadhouse in Salt Creek. Best place to eat some lovely food (I recommend the shark), get some advice about the area (which is beautiful) and stay for a few nights in one of the cabins, the holiday house or at the campside. Besides all that the staff was lovely, super friendly and nice people. If you are passing Salt Creek, the Roadhouse is worth a stop.

just stopped for petrol on our trip and left 3 days later. We stayed in Adams holiday house in the back and had a perfect time here at Salt Creek. We enjoyed the great food at the roadhouse and also all the outdoor activities that the area offers. One of the highlights was definitely the sunrise on the big sand hill on the sea side of Tea Tree Crossing. will never forget that wonderful view over the sand dunes! :)

The caravan park has soft grass that was very cushioning under my tent. The fish burger was tasty as it had more vegetables, less fish and you could choose the species!!
