Took money illegally from my visa account. I had to get consumer affairs and the police involve to get my money returned. Terrible business. I would not recommend them.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Jardin Couture. Having provided photos, together we agreed on a wedding dress design which I was promised ‘was simple and easy’. The process was far from it...After hours of fittings in the shop, the dress seemed to move further from the agreed design each time I went. It wasn’t fitting and wouldn’t stay on my shoulders (which I was later told I have round shoulders, and the design was never going to work?), amongst other issues.The most disappointing part was the experience. My mother, sister and I, who had been diplomatic and patient throughout this, commuting to every single fitting as requested, were yelled at abusively – completely unprofessional and unfair. Obviously it was out of frustration that the dress was cut wrong and not fitting, but she blamed us. I’ve never been yelled at so much or experienced such bad service. We offered to pay for new fabric, (after we had already paid extra for more fabric to which we weren’t reimbursed) to cut the dress again so it would stay up, not gape and to cover my back more as the original design was...to which we were yelled at more.I had full faith in Jardin at the beginning, and appreciated AnneMarie’s time, patience and can-do attitude. But the outcome was very, very disappointing and after ‘completion’ one week before wedding, I didn’t wear it as I was so unhappy.I do not like defaming, but have since heard of other women who had the same service here (if only we knew before hand)... I would not wish this experience upon anyone.
