Extremely impressed with the management values of this place, step father in care and staff maintain contact re every medical incident and any problems.. they check re sending him to hosp if they deem necessary and any Dr visits recommendations as well . They are very inclusive. This was not the case at previous placement..also under IRT. however it is clearly the values of t he current management at WBG.. so thank you to management and staff respecting these values.

Staff are rude and lazy. Rooms aren't cleaned well. If you want loved ones mobility taken away and restrained in bed great place to be. When you want to take loved ones out for the day they try and stop you. Patients wait to long after buzzing for a bed pan. Clothing goes missing. Food is revolting.

The most understaffed terrible place I have seen, my grandmother is in there in a room that is like a hospital room, doesn't fresh outside air help with people any age. She lays in bed or sits in a chair, she has macular degeneration, so she cannot watch TV. Also having to wait for doctors. What is she paying for and what about the unit she sold to get in to this place, as well she is a war widow. What are veterans affairs doing about this.

My mum has been a resident for a few weeks now. I’m thrilled to say that the care that she is receiving and the friends she is making in this beautiful establishment has been a load off my mind. It’s such a difficult decision for the family to make. And in saying that we all couldn’t be happier.

Looked at a room for my mother in the low care section. The state of the room was disgusting with what I imagine was urine and fecal matter stains. The carpet was stained. The residents looked like they were drooling into their laps. The “daily activities” were a joke. Sunlight therapy, nail therapy, reminiscing. If my poor mother was placed there she would have ran in front of a truck and ended it all. This is where old peoples hopes and dreams go to die. IRT clearly don’t care about their residents well being and mental health. No wonder it’s not meeting basic government regulations.

A generally well managed facility. Staff at office always try to assist with coordinated visits during covid.Care staff are overworked but do there best to do there job with care and compassion. Facility is well maintained and food served to residents is average.

Relaxing, well layed out, single level area, for the young at heart. There's a choice of independent living or higher care. The higher care area, has a large home feel, with individual bedrooms and ensuites, and some communal areas attended by friendly staff

Being an aged Care Nurses Aide, I visit regularly due to work. It's immaculate, clean and has a lovely feel for seniors.
