If you are the builders for Evermore your workmanship is terrible. Absolutely appalling. So many defects and repairs 3 years on. Will not be purchasing anything that is built by your company from now on. So disappointing.

1. Amenities they quoted in original selling price vs what they delivered at the time was settlement was different, most of amenities were not ready, but we have already paid in full. (swimming pool, sky garden, media room, game room etc)2. Many could not settle in immediately even after full payment made due to many defects and missing requirements such as No NBN, No Blinds, improperly closing doors etc.3. The parking bay arrangements were ridiculous, you simply can’t bring a truck closer to lift as height restrictions of 2m. Imagine a large apartment complex having 2M height restrictions and movers to walk 150M after stopping trucks on the road.4. It was pretty evident poor quality and craftsmanship across the building.5. Builders (Lu Simons) communication is terrible, they never respond.Suggestion to new buyers:1. Always enclose walk out close in your contract with deposit if you not happy with quality.2. Don’t settle money unless you are very happy with everything so you won’t end paying 2 mortgages at the same time out of pocket.

Ay other than the hair styles and facial hair these guys do alright

Don't honour defect issues which they have known about within the 10 year timeframe. Avoid like the plague. So they have replied to this saying just send the list through to make themselves look good. Reality is that the body corporate have sent it all through within the timeframe and they refuse to take responsibility. Shameful.

The worst builder company ever! Please save your money on NOT buying any property built by this builder company. The star gives to the receptionist who's friendly and helpful. Their director just try to avoid the responsibility, so no stars for him!

L.U Simon have been working on the Palace Theatre project on Bourke St Melbourne , enabling and helping a wealthy developer who ripped out the historic music venues beautiful interiors days before potential heritage listing, and doubled the venues rent to force them out and leave the theatre empty for years out of spite, make a massive profit after destroying one of the cities best mid sized live music venues.

Reported actively leak and growing mould issue in a building they are responsible for under new build laws. Have not resolved leak in over 4 months. Active mould issues for my renters who can’t use one bedroom and all emails and phone calls being ignored by LU Simon. They aren’t resolving the issue and ignoring their responsibilities in compensations such as mould cleaning and carpet replacement even though the issue is due to a build defect. Be warned. No one will respond to you at head office regardless of how much you call looking to escalate.Management are unresponsive when issues are raised and official complaints filed.

Unfortunately they don’t respond to building defects in a timely manner, a lot of third party contractors in and out and information isn’t passed on to project managers. No follow ups to actively resolve the issue with upper management ignoring emails. Still yet to resolve the flagged building defects and yet to replace the carpet with mould growth and rotting timber battens. Have been asking an for update for almost half a year, we will have to go through DBDRV and VTAC unfortunately. Would avoid any building defect issues with these guys they’ll drag it out as long as possible.

Disgusting. Profit before people. Lived directly behind their main factory in north fitzroy for years and years and there has been a small ‘neighbourly’ issue. We’ve approached them over the course of a few years regarding it and each time they lie to us telling us “yes we are looking into, we’ll sort it out”. In the meanwhile my elderly mother suffering the consequences of the issue. LU SIMON you are grubby, shameless, and have no respect for your locals. Keep chasing millions in profit and keep spitting on your locals. From your receptionist to upper management, poor form.I just hope one day when you yourselves reach old age you don’t have to go through what you put my mother through but just remember sometimes what goes around comes around.(Yes it was trimmed just recently! Someone was tired and couldn’t bear any more pain after having to wait years and years of cleaning up your mess and got it done themselves. Hence this review. Council didn’t delay it years and years and years your profit did. You treated us, yours neighbours, like rubbish. And you would even get annoyed when we would enquire every 3-6 months. Keep up the profits and damage control on google reviews)
