It was a very good experience. I dyed my hair for the first time, and I was very satisfied with the color, which surprised me. Alfie's technique is undeniable, very professional. He is very nice, patiently listen to your request and reply. The equipment in the store is very new and complete. The service attitude of the staff is very good. After you sit down, they will ask and give you drinks and biscuits. They will give you a head massage when you wash your hair. The technique is great and it is a very comfortable experience.

Alfie went above and beyond. I won’t say how as then everyone will expect it. Suffice to say you made my Birthday today so special. Thank you Alfie x

I hate to be the first one leaving a one star review here, but honestly the haircut I’ve got deserve no star at all.I’m not usually a picky person in hair styles, so even though I think the style of the haircut I’ve got does not suit me at all, and it does not look like any of the pictures I’ve shown beforehand, that’s not the reason I’ve been so devastated.The haircut I’ve got does not even look the same on both sides!! I’ve never had a haircut like this in my entire life and I struggle to believe this when I looked myself in the mirror at home. Especially the fringe part on the sides are so noticeably different (at least 3-4cm) so when I tie back my hair, it just looks ridiculous. There’s also too much texture on one side, and therefore much less volume, as I was told by another hairdresser who later tried to save this haircut. And yes, I can noticeably see and feel there’s less hair on one side.This haircut is just catastrophic. I have a relatively small face (or so I was told by my friends), but this haircut made my face look like a bloated rectangle, and my head looked abnormally large. There’s only so much the other hairdresser can do, because you can’t have those hair grow back in overnight. My hair is already soooo much shorter that I ever wanted it to be, and funny that I said I intended to grow my hair out longer. I was told it’d be 6 months for me to get the short hair styles that I somewhat like, and I imagine it’d be at least 1 year to grow my hair to my ideal length. It just feels sooo unbearably long.I don’t know if this is purely bad luck, as most of the other reviews are so good, but I honestly think a decent hairdresser could do better than this haircut when they are completely drunk. I’ve actually read a few bad reviews elsewhere, but I thought hey, no place would be perfect. In hindsight, I should have just trusted those reviews and went somewhere else.

Wish I could rate a zero star for this place. Booked a 45mins man cut including proper shampoo wash and massage. However, the process was rushed down to 25mins which makes me wonder if the price can be proportioned as well. Besides, the hair cutting skill is beyond horrible. Well, if you want to look like a mr potato head after the cut, this is the go to. Otherwise, find another place.

THE best hair salon in Brisbane. Since I’ve met Tommy I do not trust anyone else with my hair. He is a hair God! Couldn’t recommend more

This place is seriously amazing. I either hate all my haircuts because the stylist has no idea what to do with curly hair or I fork over tons to be satisfied. Here I did neither. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the talent is a freaking bomb. All of the staff were sweet to not just me, but also my mate waiting patiently for me. Y’all got a permanent customer!

Excellent service with affordable price! Big shout out to Alfie! All my friends said my new hair colour suits me well! Good environment and very friendly staff. Overall, 10/10 service! Definitely will recommend friends & family to visit Alfie Hair Design in the future.
