I just found a hidden jewel. It makes me feel like I am back in an Argentinean trattoria. The mushroom risotto was amazing, the place is very inviting. I will come back !

First time going here last night and honestly I had the best time. The pasta was cheap, huge portion sizes and delicious. The drinks were cheap, delicious and huge too! The restaurant itself has a really cool energy about it, laid back but still fast pace. All our food came out so quickly and I have to say I don’t know where else in Melbourne you could get inexpensive drinks and food that is actually good! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.A massive shoutout to Ilona (i hope that is the correct spelling), Alex and Maria they really brought up the already awesome vibe. No doubt will be back again!

Best bang for your buck Italian restaurant around Melbourne. I came after 5pm and was quiet and service was quick. Their online ordering system is fast and easy to use.Went for the good old spaghetti bolognese and it was generous, rustic and well presented. Nice and filling, good meat portions, plenty of sauce to dress the pasta, topped off with some Parmesan cheese. The side olives was a nice compliment. Loved my meal so much I ordered the Puttanesca for take away for just $9!There was plenty of parking outside the restaurant, otherwise consider parking around Edinburgh Gardens where there is plenty of availability and better time restrictions.Don’t understand the negative reviews about this place. If you set realistic expectations, and release how much you are getting for what you are paying, this place is a gem and I’ll be coming back for sure.

So yum!!! And for the price, unimaginable. This oil based mushroom special was so good. Also the waiters were super friendly and helpful

First time trying today, wondered what all the fuss was about.The chess plate looked plain, but the choice of cheese was lovelyThe trout pasta was divine, so much flavours and the pop of the salty capers was spot on.My partner had the Pesto and it was yummy.Garlic bread was very niceWe ordered the banquet and I think they forgot to give us the dessert.

One of the best vegetarian/vegan pasta places I've been to in the city! I was surprised by the number of vegetarian options they had on their menu. Super affordable and the sweetest staff.Can't wait to go back!

I’m pretty sure that at $9, the puttanesca is the cheapest pasta dish you can find in Melbourne. But despite the price, it feels just as rich and hearty as ever thanks to heaps of olives and anchovies. It’s absolutely delicious. The bolognese is pricier but (according to my partner) was also very enjoyable. Only downside was that service could have been more attentive. Get a spot in the cute back courtyard if you can!

I don't know how they do it, but this is simply delicious pasta not just for $9, but delicious full stop. I have had Italian food 4x the price that's worse.It is difficult to find a restaurant that has the trifecta of delicious food, great prices and affable, friendly service. This place is a gem that hits the mark on all three. And they reward polite customers!Please keep going and it is a miracle that you have been able to keep your cheapest pasta at $9 with the same great flavour, ingredients and serving size in this economic environment.Very happy to call myself a regular at Good Times.
