Great electrical company.

Merv davies is a notoriously greedy businessman who screws over both his workers and his customers. he charges an incredible premium on basic services that can be performed at a fraction of the cost by virtually every other company in SA. Weslec and Rawsons will not charge nearly half as much for services and supplies, and are more reliable to have the work done when you need them.

Very happy with service, I was upgrading my switchboard and having lights installed, they were honest with cost and gave me options until we found a solution that met my budget. Thoroughly recommend.

I do not recommend this business to others.My husband called Davies Electrical to fix our electric but the problem is NOT fixed and there was NO progress made but we ended up with a relevantly big bill.At the initial call, we asked for a quote and was informed that there would be $35 call out fee which was fair. When my husband asked if the problem is not fixed, would it be additional cost, we did NOT get a clear answer on it.A lady said she would clarify the issue and call me back on Monday. I waited but no call was made from David Electrical on the day.We rang back on Wednesday and was informed that it was my husband's fault as he mentioned the blind was controlled by a c-bus system but the problem was caused by the blind itself.We are not professionals, we do not know when blinds stopped working, the problem was in the system or the blinds. That was why we were calling for a quote from an electrician.Anyway, very disappointed.

We are very happy with the guys from Davies Electrical, they were very prompt arriving. Good friendly service, couldn't fault them at all. We had indoor and outdoor fans installed, some power points and our fuse box was updated from the 1970's to the modern circuit breakers.I would definitely recommend Davies Electrical to anyone that needs a job done........big or small.

I have had them on 2 seperate occassions and both electricians were great. Very professional and thorough. Even changed out our old light bulb for no charge.

Punctual and professional with excellent communication, so easy to deal with! John was an absolute gentleman! All the work was done speedily, efficiently, and with no disruption. Highly recommend Davies Electrical and I will definitely use again.
