Small Grain
So there are very few places that can achieve a level of delicious food that I will continually dream about. This place reaches that level! I highly recommend to try their food out because it has such a wonderful flavour profile and tastes amazingly fresh. The staff are all lovely and make me feel welcome when I come in to order food no matter how busy it is. Everything about small grain is absolutely worthy of a five star rating!

I’ve had takeaway and delivery from here. It’s definitely one on my “go to” places to get food from.Being a gluten free eater, the karaage chicken is flippin amazing because I usually can’t get it. The beef bowl (which you could have the chicken too) is also pretty damn good. My wife has had the bahn mi roll. She said it was fine, just not the Vietnamese/French bread roll you’d expect if you got a bahn mi in Melbourne. Don’t let this turn you off though. It’s awesome! 5 stars.

The food here is so good! Absolutely delicious, great portion size and presented with care. These guys are worth stopping at. We also loved the personal attention from the chef. Also super impressed by their eco choices.

Walked past this cute restaurant and was impressed with the small menu..I tried the beef bowl yesterday and the karaage chicken rice bowl today. The chicken rice bowl is a definite winner. Chicken was nice and juicy without being greasy. There's not many good Asian restaurants in Launceston so Small Grain is a winner at the moment.

We had the red curry & beef rice bowl and both were amazing! All the ingredients were fresh and portion sizes were plenty enough. A must try in TAS.

Outstanding food in this cozy little restaurant!! My husband and I ordered a chicken bahn mi and the beef bowl. Both of us were blown away with how delicious our food was. Highly recommend eating here if you get the opportunity.

What a gem!Happened to go here with some locals from Launceston who know really good quality food.The service was fast, friendly, and the overall vibe was nourishing.Parking was easy just on the street. There are only a handful of chairs inside but takeaway is definitely a strong point for them. We opted to eat outside which was great.I’ve learned they were doing street food before opening up the restaurant and clearly they have got it right!Will definitely go here again! All very reasonably priced too!

The karaage chicken bowl was good, they ran out of rice and the chicken tasted a bit old and soggy. Gyozas were yummy but overpriced.
