This is a wonderful shop, bees galore and ethically produced honey products. Found some skin care that has to be the best I have ever used. The ice creams are delicious and also the honey sampling. There is a living bee hive on display too. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My go to shop for many things now, gifts or for personal items.

Best honey place I've been to! Do yourself a favor and drop by if you are in the area. So many different honeys and products to try and all so delicious. I particularly enjoyed my scoop of ginger honey ice cream. So tasty

This place sells honey". Kids are treated like dirt and the staff are horrible. They don't like anybody "not white" and they will usher you out of the shop if you've tried enough honey. Prices are ridiculous. A disgrace to Tassy. Get honey in Vic or NSW or anywhere else but not here."

Nice little honey farm shop on the main road. You can't miss seeing it whilst driving. Has so many great flavours of honey including tastings. Favourite is the ginger and leather wood. Ice cream is a must especially the Tasmanian leather wood gelato! They even have a glass window to look into a hive

Excellent shop of everything to do with honey including a working hive where you can watch the bees at work. We went for their manuka honey but you can taste so many different honeys. Nougat was the best I have ever tasted. We bought a great book on bees for our toddler. The ladies there were so friendly and helpful. Loved this shop - well done!

This Honey Store is the best shop that I've ever been to. It is not very far from Launceston, the second biggest city in Tasmania. If you want to know more about bees and all its by products, this is the right place to be. All their products and packaging is world class. The store is not just for selling but also a sort of miniature museum where you can see the old fashion way of beekeeping and also check other bee equipment and hives of the olden days. They also have an informative video about beekeeping and you can also see a live beehive colony in a glass and witness how busy they are in the colony.Images of bees, life cycle and its anatomy is also displayed in store. My suggestion, is that they should be open 7 days a week to cater everyone and not close on Saturday and should sell ref magnet with Melita Bee Farm in it. They can also invite people to wear bee suit and get actual interaction with bees. Other than that, the store is perfect! Worth a visit.

5 Stars! So much honey it's not funny :) We were gobsmacked by the amount of flavours here. My favourites are the Leatherwood and Lavender honey. I also bought a small jar of chili honey that I like to add to marinades and also have with my cheese and crackers. So good! We have been here twice now and have enjoyed the experience. Staff are so nice and have a wealth of info. to share. Didn't know that bees were so interesting. If driving through, don't miss.
