Esperance Senior High School

One of two high schools in Esperance with approx. 1000 students in attendance. Has a high standard Residential Facility attached to the high school so students living far from town are able to stay on campus and attend school.

They need to have more IT driven courses. I struggle getting through only science subjects and now I have to struggle more without IT skills in da future

Going to this high school gives everyone amazing opportunities, and their education levels at the school are the best. I attend this high school and it’s the best school to make friends at and to get a great education! 8D

It's actually .....falling apart, legitimately. There isn't enough desks and chairs for all the kids in some classes. Minor patch-ups to cover large issues because the school just can't afford it. The fencing around a collapsing 2 story building was removed as they couldn't afford it. Everything is older then the kids that go there and their parents. No bathroom breaks during class hours including water breaks. No support for struggling students, so even being told simply to 'go away' after a 3 students passed in one weekend. Many students drop out due to lack of support and genuinely depressing rooms. A common saying around the school is that ' the school is being held together with gum ' including stairs which visibly move when stepping on them. The school needs funding, please. No toilets accessible during day half the time.
