Werribee Tip

As gardeners we go here every couple of days, becoming very expensive, staff in this section require additional training, maybe a start would be not to stand behind trailers when reversing and some customer service skills and English classes would go a long way, unfortunately I have no choice but to go to this recycling centre, I really wish I had a choice, if I did I would avoid it like the plague….

I mean it's a tip, you can't expect too much!I paid $110 for a full van load of rubbish which is reasonable. Plenty of places to unload your rubbish and there are workers around to help direct you.I was surprised that I had to pay first rather than after dumping the rubbish (I thought they would calculate the difference in weight on the weighbridge.) No complaints there!

What a rip off!!! 101$ for three boxes! Shame on us for allowing Wyndham Council to continue with increasing prices and be very picky on what they consider hard rubbish when you arrange for collection! Let’s continue to elect people who do nothing except justify paying more because “more and better” is coming.

WERRIBEE WASTE DISPOSAL SITE a place for the community to go to and attend as the majorLandfill which is operated by Cleanaway in Ravenhall is not open to the public and deals with commercial rubbish collection and hard wasteOnly this site has been operating for a number of years with a bright future to comeIt is conveniently located in Werribee but stillMaintains a suitable distance from any housing developments which have been going ahead in this area over the past 5 or so years

I never had to bring in trailer loads here, that seems to be where the bad reviews are for...My visits were generally to recycle flattened corrugated card board boxes from all the online shopping since the Visy center in Laverton closed. Second would be dropping off e-waste. Both of these are free to recycle. Do check the information at Wyndham council website to find out which ones you can recycle for free so you don't inadvertently pay for recycling something you don't have to pay for.Staff was courteous and often times one person had to deal with queries from multiple people sometimes amidst the noisy din of garbage being dumped. That they open weekends too is much appreciated.

A complete rip of even green they charge 140 a trailer better of going to Melton like most do about $35

Friendly, patient staff. Gets a bit uncomfortable when it is windy with all the dust but otherwise okay.

Friendly staff and they direct you exactly where to go to drop your load, but still don't understand why in every other state you can drop off green waste for free and buy the mulch. Just seems in Vic everyone loves to double dip. Very expensive too, easy to comprehend why some people dump on the side of the road. Definately do not condone that sort of behaviour but can see why.

Awful experience. Complete rip offCharged $167 as a “truck” for half a tray worth of stuff. The “truck” we were driving is nothing more than a Ute.The lady at the entrance saw how little we had to drop off and continued to insist we were a truck so it didn’t matter. What we tipped weighed 160kg. Spoke to the supervisor and he didn’t even bother to come And look at what we had.The staff that worked there laughed at us and said “ you got ripped off “.Will be making a complaint.Absolute rip off, this place is robbing people. Scumbags.

Great experience. Lady at work was really helpful. Do the right thing.
