So much time and effort is put into every aspect of SJ dance. I honestly was never that into dance myself as a kid, but when my daughter was keen to dance I gave it a go.We were offered a free week free trial to see what class she liked best.My favourite thing about the school is the anti gossip and anti bullying policy. My daughter loves dancing, Dance@SJ was our first choice and we haven't had to look else where. We could not have been happier with great friendly anti-bullying environment and supportive teachers. It's our 3rd year with dance@SJ and have created many good friends we look forward to many more years ahead.

My Daughters joined Dance @ SJ in August 2018 after becoming bored at their dance school. Even though everyone in Dance @ SJ was fully focused on their showcase practise they still made my daughters feel welcome and they fitted right in. I love the personal Year in Review notes as well as all the friendly staff & parents. My daughters have grown so much and absolutely LOVE dancing @ SJ!!

Since I started at SJ DANCERS almost 2 years ago, the teachers are fantastic the students and faculity are amazing and I felt welcome from the day I walked in for a trial. The senior girls are truly fantastic.About Miss sarah Miss Chrissy Miss Jodie ( hidden behind the desk) Miss Ashleigh are all super women if they can get 200+ children to stand up straight point their toes and not fall out of their turns I'm sure anyone can do anything. You have made my transition back into dance so smooth I just want to say thankyou so much. I can hardly wait for my sister to pop out her baby so I can enroll them into dancing. Everyone I see I tell them sj dancers is where it all happends. That's when I'm not covered head to toe in sj dancers uniform out and about. I would not go to any other dance school, once your a sj member you never go back. Miss sarah is such a determined beautiful teacher and I have almost reached my ability to do a back walk over and I have been practising morning noon and night I can hardly wait until I get it. I have improved so much since my first day thankyou best teachers in the world:)

Highly recommend Dance@SJ, my daughter has been attending this dance school for 3 years now and it has been amazing she has grown so much especially with her confidence in social situations. I have trialled other schools but nothing compares to them, it feels like family whenever we are at the studio.

My daughter danced with SJ in both standard classes and competitive classes for three years. I had provided feedback to the owner regarding my concern with the already poor communication rapidly declining, and also my concern around the dance instructors large and ever increasing days absent from class which resulted in either the owner (who is not a dancer nor an accredited dance instructor) or student teachers taking the classes in her absence, this evolved and the relationship was damaged, however had been resolved amicably. I had also asked for feedback on my daughters dance ability and what we needed to work on in order for my daughter to improve and gain further opportunities in the dancing community. The dance instructor did not contact me at all over the three years, nor were we given constructive feedback.We questioned returning for 2023 as the costs were increasing, but there was no improvement in communication, however we decided to continue as my daughter had formed some great friendships at SJ, we were willing to lower our expectations, however once our 2023 classes were confirmed and an invoice was received, following the last day of dance for 2022 I received an email from the owner stating that my daughter is no longer invited to dance at the studio with no further context. I was then removed and blocked from all Facebook groups, my access to the host webpage was removed and my phone number blocked. For a business who claims to have a zero bullying policy and a self proclaimed ’family’, their poor business management and conflict resolution skills leave much to be desired. My daughter for the most part absolutely loved most of her SJ experiences, however was discarded and emotionally scarred by a business who is supposed to embrace her and build her confidence. Also, if communication and knowledge is something you require as a parent or dancer I would advise looking for a studio with business and dance professionals who are consistent with their communication and value the importance of keeping their paying customers informed in an honest fashion, do not lie or hide information, who do not bring their very personal lives into the professional environment and who care about their students feelings and welfare.

Highly recommend Dance @ SJ. Such an amazing dance school. My little girl is in her 4th year dancing here and it has been fantastic. We trialed 2 other dance studios in the area but we just fell in love with SJ. All the staff are lovely and very welcoming and the teachers are fantastic, my little one was a very shy kid and SJ has really helped her build her confidence! She has also made some life long friends through dance and it is just so lovely to see. The end of year concert blows me away every year, such a spectacular show they put on and so many fun activities throughout the year including movie nights, Discos etc.

Nothing but praise for this family friendly studio. We have felt welcome and supported from day one and are able to watch our kids flourish with these amazing teachers. I can see so much passion for dance within these walls and know i will be bringing my children here for as long as they can dance.
