Every time I went up to the bar I was ignored for some time by the 3 or so staff who just stood there chatting. Tried to serve me a glass of wine that still had lipstick marks on it and had to point that out.Outdoor area is ridiculous when it's raining - the undercover area that was booked still gets heaps of rain inside it. We were there for an engagement party and had the big football screen on and had to listen to that instead of music, even though we were the only ones outside. Staff thought it was funny to flick water off the tables at each other....but just kept wetting the guests.You have to go collect your own meals when the buzzer goes off and even then they basically just slid the food at us as if we had inconvenienced them.We left as soon as we finished our mains -even though we had planned to stay there all night - and I stopped bothering to get drinks well before that.If customers are such an inconvenience I hope you stop getting them.

The staff were very inattentive.Firstly, there was a mistake with our drink order, really not an issue, but it just adds more context to the overall disappointing experience.Three out of four of the mains came out together. A waiter came over to check which meal was missing (it was great that they noticed). They checked with the kitchen but didn’t come back to tell us if it was on its way or if it had been forgotten. Eventually, I had to awkwardly ask the staff member, they informed me that it had been ‘missed’ in the kitchen.We asked for table water twice, in the end I went up to the bar to get some more.All of our meals were VERY salty, even the salmon. It’s a shame because everything on the menu looks delicious and well-considered.It was not a busy evening. I know it’s just a pub but my expectations weren’t high. Really one of the most subpar dining experiences I’ve had in years.

Food was great, staff were super friendly and accommodating of small kids.

Venue is amazing, very beautiful inside.Staff were friendly however not very attentive. Not greeted or explained about menus or ordering process, cutlery was not put on the table even up until after our food arrived.

Booked in a birthday dinner for 10 people, asked if we could bring our own cake and was told yes, but there would be a charge.I was happy with that.We arrived and was told again that there would be a charge for the cake.. OKFood was good, we all enjoyed it. Though the staff seemed that they would sooner be somewhere else.Asked for the table to be cleared and for the cake to be brought out so we could do the happy birthday, candle thing. ( Candles were on the cake ready to go), was told again that here would be a charge. Ok againHalf the table was cleared, and we were presented with the account,No. I said, we are wanting the cake to be brought out please.told again that there will be a charge. AAAAAAHHHHHHNext thing the cake comes out already cut, no candles, and no Happy Birthday. Very dissapointing.They found it Really hard to understand simple requests.

I hope this is an isolated incident... last week I met a friend for lunch and we didn't have a great experience. I ordered the tuna salad which was served in a bowl with a massive chip (50 cent size) out of the internal rim, hilariously they put green beans as an ingredient well the 4 x 2cm pieces might have added up to a small bean if they were lucky. The rest of the salad had days old cos lettuce (brown cut ends etc) plus it was over dressed, a very sad salad indeed. Sorry .. on the positive the tuna was nicely and correctly cooked, I am not a massive fan of it still being fridge cold in the middle when served. As for my friend we had to move the table as the roof was leaking on her throughout the meal.

We booked 3 weeks out in the ‘ensuite’ section only to be told that they had to swap our table to fit others in! We were shown a dingy table in the dining room so elected to sit at a high table in the Base area. Thank goodness the staff there were amazing and provided fantastic customer service. Nothing was too much trouble even refunding the cost of a meal - the paella (which was dry and not tasty)The guys behind the bar saved the night for sure!

The waiter in the bar was very unfriendly and not accommodating. I think they forgot about our order as we had to wait for over an our and ask about it 3 times. Then the food all came out at different times. When we asked the waiter what happened he said that he can’t help what the chefs do - no apology. Food was average, steak over cooked. Will not be backed mainly because of the unfriendly staff. It’s a pub so expectations aren’t overly high but this was actually terrible.

My schnitzel was like a regurgitated patty with heavily applied breadcrumbs , and the pepper sauce was watery . Salad lettuce and bits of grated carrot throughout

The food was great but the staff need an attitude adjustment. Not friendly at all and the drink service was very poor
