The Deckhead

Do not use the Deckhead, avoid all the hassles we’ve had and go with someone else. This is what $10,000 gets you …. a mess of a backyard with huge holes and a dangerous exit from the back door …. Oh and a garage full of timber. Rhys is unreliable, dishonest and is very happy to take your money. Once he has he will avoid answering calls an replying to emails. You then get and email saying he is canceling the job … so you are left out of pocket and with a mess of a backyard. Please .. to anyone who reads this, do yourself a favour and look up someone else. It will spare you a lot of heartache in the long run!!!

Rhys and the team were amazing! Reasonable price, very responsive and the workmanship was exceptional. The team were all really friendly, the work was completed quickly, and the yard was left very tidy. We are so super happy with our new deck, and couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough. Rhys and his team are fantastic to work with-very friendly and competent. 12 months ago they did an amazing job covering a cement front deck with beautiful decking. They have now just completely rebuilt our back deck. We are very happy with their work and highly recommend them.

Rhy's recently completed my mum's alfresco. Torn down the old one, replaced it with something beautiful that mum is extremely happy with and will get so much more use out of. Would highly recommend this company, as the cost met our expectations, they turned up on time everyday and were professional and extremely well mannered [my mum's words] and trust me she is old school and that also made me feel comfortable that I didn't have to be there everyday. We have had Rhys from The Deckhead do two jobs for us now, a front decked area with roof and side boardwalk deck path and back deck.Rhys was happy to discuss our design ideas, made suggestions and delivered an outstanding result. He was also professional and polite and we would highly recommend him for your decking job.

Rhys was able to provide a quote and start the work we required (installing 8 door handles and hanging a beaded chandelier) in a very timely manner. He was friendly and courteous while completing the job and had a very reasonable day rate. We will use him again for any future chippy needs we have.

Overall I would highly The Deckhead. From the beginning I appreciate Rhys' mannerisms and professionalism. I was consulted well about what I wanted and engaged with for decisions when required.Construction was seamless and executed well, finished result was of high quality.No variances from what was quoted and pricing was budget friendly and competitive against market rates.
