Spent hours trying seperate a turbine housing so I took it here, 15 minutes later they had separated and sandblasted the housing which now fits perfectly

It all started with a track day at Tailem Bend where unfortunately one of my turbos let go in a cloud of smoke. So I took it to Bill at ATS where I asked if he could tear it down & give me a diagnosis as to why it had failed prematurely. He obliged & the diagnosis was low oil supply.This is where my transformation from complete mechanical noob, to semi proficient spanner turner began.I decided to do the work myself as I had lost respect for some very well known workshop’s mechanics & learning how to do it properly myself, with the support of Bill was life changing.We came up with a parts list, 2 x new turbos (yes I wanted larger ones), gaskets, studs & most importantly the correct banjo bolts. As this is what caused the low oil supply.He had me perform an “Oil flow test” to see where the restriction was & no, I didn’t know how to do that. But Bill has the ability to explain things logically & simply so that even I could understand it.I found that I got way more than I purchased, because of the wealth of knowledge I received in post sales support.He has a passion for turbos & you can see it in the way he speaks. I now refer to him as, “The Turbo Whisperer,” whenever I tell the story of my cooked snail at The Bend.Genuine business owner & operator. Highly recommended.
