Horrible traffic, Care more about uniforms than education, forces boys to tuck in their shirts and will stop lessons just for that. Bullying is not dealt with. I heard that they’re planning to change the time school finishes to 2:45 which is a horrible idea

Like other reviews have said, this school cares more about the ugly uniform than education, they refuse to fix the traffic problems. Teachers punish boys just for not having their shirt’s tucked in. Teachers bully students and there is lots of racism in the school. Ms Zabarauskas and many other teachers are racist. There are very few good teachers at this school like Mr Addicott and Mr Bone and apparently Mr bone has left this school.

This school seems to have a very bad google profile, with multiple allegations that they force their students to write good reviews and 3 reviews from the same Claire Mclaren". idek what is going on

Literally discriminated against my brother with Down syndrome. I was glad to leave after yr9 to begin at a new school with my brother. It’s beyond me why they haven’t been recognised for such unprofessionalism.

We’ve had ups and downs at the college, which is to be expected of any school. The Learning Engagement team are fabulous for my student and have worked hard to help her over the years. Fees are high, but I work hard to pay them as I want a good start for my children. Communication as a little lacking but mostly information can be found on the portal or by emailing staff directly.

I am disappointed to read bad reviews about the traffic and uniforms as it is not a true reflection of the school. My daughter has just graduated with excellent marks which is proven by her accepting an early offer into University. My son is now going into year 11 and his grades have improved greatly. The teachers communicate well with parents and have a good repour with the students.

I graduated from this school 3 years ago and I’m still having anxiety-ridden dreams about it. The teachers seemed to have no care level for the students whatsoever. The understanding towards mental health is 0 and the support system is dreadful. Some of the teachers abused their power and the pressure put onto students is ridiculous. They should be encouraging students to prioritise their mental health over anything else but they honestly don’t care.

Schools great compared to others typically clean great to visit on visitors day. Teachers are good and compassionate, the tuck shop is amazing serving healthy full meals/ lunches to fill kids as well as lots of snacks and drinks. Students are nice and supportive of each and it is really easy to make friends there.

was one of the worst schools i have ever seen. Attempted to suspended me 3 times within my first 2 terms as a yr 7. The college has some deeply rooted power imbalances and violence. Most kids leave by yr 10, i had to leave end of yr 7. School cared more about uniforms than the actual students.

lolll this school Proper unprofessional word left it just over a year ago. Education wise I’ve actually improved heaps and my courier pathway got set up so much quicker. Although hats off to Mr Lavacombe, does an amazing job trying to juggle all the students by himself. It would just be more beneficial if they had more staff assisting him. The school made claims that they’d do things to step in with bullying. But I’ve seen kids get their heads thrusted towards to concrete floor and the offender gets let off scotch free even with all the camera evidence they claim to have. The school has many great aspects however resource wise. Amazing science facilities and some amazing teacher aid staff. The college need to focus more on the students well being and education rather than the uniforms whereas it seemed they had more intrest in “looking” like a sophisticated college rather than installing a mindstet to the students that looks somehow manage to be more important than the actual knowledge of the kids who are enrolled at the school. I’ve had some great memories at sbc. But The majority of the memories I share with sbc are with the staff who showed 0 respect to certain students purely based on the fact they didn’t like them. But I’m sure many other ex students or previous students can vouch for me when I say that Mr carlil, Mrs T, Mr Lav, Mrs Robson, Mr Harsas, Mr Bugden and Mrs Mortimer who I’m certain we all miss, all play/ed and amazing role at the college providing that support that other teachers weren’t able to achieve. I thank those teachers for making my experience somewhat easier for me and others. You guys do an amazing job
