Lilypad Palm Beach

Simply the best! Our 2 night stay on Lilypad was mesmerizing. This amazing Scandi designed floating home is perfect for a couples get away. Katie our concierge was friendly and helpful. The chef prepared food and wine selection was fantastic. We found living on the water of Palm Beach majestic and intoxicating. Our stay was perfect. 
We also enjoyed the use of the tender to investigate nearby beaches and islands. We highly recommend this experience! Lilypad is now our floating home of choice and we will be back.

Everything about Lilypad is perfect. From the moment we met our lovely Concierge Nikki, we knew we were in good hands. The Lilypad is beautifully designed. It has everything you need. The food is fantastic, the views, peace and quiet plus friendly people passing by on their boats ready to wave. I could sit on that deck and drink Champagne forever. Such a great experience. We can't wait to go back!

We spent 3 nights at Lilypad at the end of January, and had the most incredible time. It's a truly bucket-list worthy experience! We felt like we were away for a week. It was super relaxing, and an adventure at the same time!Everything you could possibly need is included, and the food drinks, snacks linen, everything - is of very high quality. The food prepared by the chef every day was delicious, and came with instructions on how to to the last minute assembly/heating - all very easy in that lovely kitchen.Katie and Nikki were fantastic - our 'concierge' - they would text each morning to see what we needed, and drop off along with whatever lunch/dinner we'd ordered. We used the little boat to go to shore for coffee, had a beach picnic at Portuguese beach, enjoyed the stand up paddle-boards, the sauna and outdoor shower, the bbq... and we had dinner at Barrenjoey House too.If you're considering it, but hesitating due to the price - don't.For what you get, it's actually really good value.An amazing experience to be remembered and treasure forever!

Lilypad is a beautiful place to unwind, relax and get away from day-to-day life. It's an experience like nothing else! We've been on lots of boats on the water before, the difference here is you're in your own little house. It's got all the comforts and amenities of a house, and it's on the water. None of the cramped feelings you sometimes get on a boat, it's all open, spacious and really functional. Lilypad is completely geared up for couples, or you could go on your own if so inclined. Not suitable for kids. We loved the food, the wine, the views and swimming straight off your front porch. The tender provided makes it easy to nip across to one of the many beaches nearby, should you wish to go for a walk or a dip from a sandy stretch. We both loved it and highly recommend this experience!

My fiancé and I were lucky enough to celebrate our engagement aboard Lilypad during new years eve. We had the most magical and memorable time. Everyone was so wonderful and accommodating, a special shoutout to Ashlea and Nikki who truly went above and beyond. The venue is a remarkable combination of luxury embedded within nature and every detail is carefully considered. The food, the drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic), the sauna, fireplace and massages were all excellent. We had an incredible time that we'll remember fondly for years to come and would happily recommend Lilypad to anyone looking for a very special getaway!

My husband and I had originally booked Lilypad for our honeymoon before the fire in 2020. We re-booked for my birthday in 2023 and what felt like a lifetime we were both extremely excited for our stay. After having waited so long for our stay, I have mixed feelings about our stay.The house, the view, the food were all amazing. The concierge, Nikki, was also lovely and helpful. But a part of the stay that I did not anticipate, was how seasick one could get on the house. Most parts of the day the house was swaying, rocking back and forth which made you feel extremely nauseous. I had to immediately get off and go buy anti-nausea tablets. Getting seasick isn’t something that can be controlled but if there had been a note or even a disclaimer to warn guests before boarding, or even when booking, that would have definitely prepared me mentally and I would have pre-packed some medicine.There was one occasion where we ended up being locked out on the wharf unable to get the door open to get to our tender. This was after having dinner at Avalon and it was rapidly becoming darker. The password Concierge suggested didn’t work and after several failed attempts, my husband jumped down to the water and opened the door from the other side. In addition to this, the toothpaste was missing so we went a night and morning to brush our teeth (gross!).Whilst the dinner and staff were lovely at Barrenjoey House, my husband had specifically emailed the Lilypad team beforehand asking to have a candle with our dessert to celebrate my birthday. Again, the candle was missing and this reflected a lack of communication and organization from the team. Thankfully the team at Barrenjoey House went above and beyond to make me feel special and made up for the slipup.Overall, it was a unique experience and the view was the highlight of the trip. However, when you’re paying quite a bit you expect small mistakes not to happen and for every part of the stay to be 100% perfect.

We rented Lilypad for a landmark family birthday, and we have to agree with all those posts that extol what a wonderful and unique experience it is to stay there. The website actually understates the first class nature of the facilities which are lacking for nothing, while the catering for both food and drinks was amazingly good. Katie and Ashlea were attentive and completely responsive to any requests or queries we had, while respecting our privacy. If anybody wants an excellent, superbly run and unique experience on the Northern Beaches, we believe it would be impossible to go past the Lilypad.

Incredible! What a house! It feels like you are on the most luxurious boat you have ever been on, and all to yourself. The food and wine were excellent, and very generous servings of both. Great access to nearby Portuguese and Resolute Beach.When initially booking, you do baulk at the price, however, when you consider that breakfast, lunch, dinner and all wine/beer is included, then you include your own personal boat, concierge boat if you want to head ashore (and not worry about mooring your own boat), paddle boards, etc ... and then admire the engineering and design accomplishment of this floating house, not to mention how unique this experience is, you realise it's a privilege to experience it.Thank you Lilypad for sharing this experience with us, truly memorable!

Our 2 night stay on Lilypad was just amazing!!! We had the most accommodating & lovely concierge, Katie who looked after us so beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble! Lilypad is a special little home that just instantly made us feel so relaxed. Sitting out on that stunning timber deck watching boats, kayaks & paddle boarders passing us by was so stunning. We travel a lot and I usually find something to have a little whine about, but I can honestly say there is NOTHING I would change onboard Lilypad. Total PERFECTION!!! Lilypad was the best appointed stay I have had. There was nothing that had not been thought of. Food was amazing, the selection of snacks & drinks (especially the red wine) was beyond my expectations. We got massages onboard and enjoyed the infrared sauna too. I would highly recommend Lilypad for couples seeking those relaxation getaways. Lilypad will go down as one of my favourite weekends away!!
