Direct Endoscopy Narre Warren

I'm writing this review immediately after 2 procedures I had to share my personal experience to help everyone considering Direct Endoscopy.Direct Endoscopy rely mostly on digital systems from the appointment booking, registering patient details, completing patient questionnaire and even subsequent follow up contacts (via email) and providing preparation instructions while minimising human contacts. This will make it much harder for people with less digital literacy and resources.If you want to talk to someone via telephone that'll be an  extremely difficult task. When I wanted to call someone a day before the procedure the call was answered by a robot and hung up after playing a recording that All our operators are currently busy

Couldn't have had an easier experience. Everyone was super friendly and given easy to understand details about my procedure.Highly recommend

Unfortunately, this was a bad experience from the time I booked the appointment. After leaving my GP clinic, nervous about the possible prognosis, I rang this place to book a procedure. The receptionist was extremely rude, and her lack of empathy was concerning; clearly, she does not know how going through an illness could affect people's emotions. She cancelled the booking already settled when I told her that her rudeness distressed me. And told me she would leave a red flag, so the next time I call, no one would book my procedure. I thought about reporting this, but unfortunately, I don't know her name.

I was extremely anxious going in for both procedures ,the staff and Drs made me so comfortable and constantly reassuring me.thank you

Dr Viet Pham, refuses to see my husband, whilst we are waiting in Reception because he decides he does not want new patients. This appt was booked a whole week ago. We find out by overhearing his conversation with the Receptionist and his heated telephone conversation. A simple explanation would have sufficed us Dr Pham. Don't forget your Hippocratic Oath.

It took me 3 1/2 weeks and still no one answered the phone for an appointment. My GP even faxed thru and tried to call. I finally walked in to get an appointment and the reception staff could not be more unwelcoming and rude. I walked put in tears and upset when she could not even make an appointment for me and all she could offer was a form to fill out and wait for a contact she didn't know wpuld take however long despite my referral being urgent. Services were brilliant in the past. But I have nothing nice to say about my experience this time. I'm so nervouse now for my appointment.

The receptionist of this clinic is RUDE AS!!! Telling me to wear a mask prior to picking up my husband but when called me didn’t mentioned anything about bringing mask! The receptionist is not very friendly at all! Rude as and while telling me I’m not allowed to be inside because of no mask there is other person inside the clinic is not wearing a mask!!!I understand that the mask still need to use inside the clinic but being rude is unacceptable!And your receptionist is ONE RUDE PERSON!Don’t even deserve one star.If you only read all the reviews, most of them says something about the receptionist being RUDE! I’m not the only one who is complaining!

Great experience from the receptionist, the doctor, and the procedure. However, it made me feel bad that I was holding the nurse for her finishing off on-time as my pick-up was stuck in the traffic. Again I apologise it's something I couldn't do anything about and I really appreciate your patience.

I called up again since I was referred by my gp to just have a consult.I was then told that I wasn't allowed back cause I caused all the staff too much distress.Not very professional if they tell all patients who give a complaint or concern to not come back.I'm willing to go back since it is only for a consult and I won't be under the influence of sedation.I now have to make another appointment with my gp to get another referral to someone else. Something I don't have the time or energy to do.This was my first time so I was extremely nervous.I turned up I think 15 min early but the receptionist told me to wait until she calls me. I didn't think there was going to be an issue turning up early.When I did eventually get seen to by the Dr nearly an hr after my appointment time it seemed like he was in a rush too as I was struggling to get my words out cause of nerves.It was when I was coming out of it that really turned me off.It took me longer to wake up which frustrated the nurses.They kept telling me to hurry up because there was other patients.I was trying to explain that I was trying but they were telling me to try harder.Yes I get there are other patients but I couldn't help it that I wasn't waking up in their time.I walked out still quite dopey and needed help walking to the car.All I did was cry when I got home cause I wrote on a sheet that they needed to know I have severe anxiety and PTSD.I've always had trouble trusting the medical profession but after today its gone.Pls don't book so many patients in so you don't have time if things don't go to plan.Yes they may have kept me longer but it was their attitude that stunk .
