I started as a volunteer clerk while I was a student. I was later offered a job and started my career as a lawyer here. Th experience I gained was invaluable. I cannot thank Adam and his team enough for the help and experience he has given me in launching my career.

The worst possible service you can imagine and horribly unprofessional.Booked a telephone appointment for 3pm on Monday – 3pm came and went no phone call.Called on Tuesday to see if I had my days wrong only to be advised Adam had an urgent court appearance and was unable to call. Received an apology for not being advised and rescheduled for Thursday 3pm.Thursday 3pm came and went and still no call. 20/03/2023 several days later and nothing.I unfortunately have a police matter to deal with and was not calling for the fun of it.Please for your own sake and that of others learn how to use a calendar and exercise some professionalism and customer service.If you would like to be ignored – Call Old Port ChambersIf you require assistance – I would strongly suggest calling someone elseNothing short of pathetic and truly worthy of a negative star rating.

I would not recommend these hopeless so-called hoppless lawyers they totally destroyed my case now I am suing Adam Richards this hoppless Barrister . Adam Richards totally destroyed my window of opportunity to win my case he had no idea and this evil person that I was taking to court one on a technicality because his lawfirm Old Port Chambers lawyers totally and utterly destroyed my case I was devastated and horrified to think this Barister had all the opportunity and time to prosecute this person I was taken to court and she won please people do not touch these people with a 10 foot pole . This Law Firm is absolutely hopeless I’ve heard from a lot of people as well these guys are useless and unprofessional !!!!!

After a mix up with payment, I got a call the day before and was told I wouldn't be represented.Not happy at all got told this and that but nothing happened broken promises.Seems like they just couldn't be bothered.

Highly skilled and experienced lawyers for those on a budget or for the blue collar worker who can’t afford thousands in legal fees. I received great service for money and was treated with respect. Sometimes it was hard to get ahold of my defence team when I would ring but considering the number of court hearings they have to attend every day, it was understandable. They fought for me and the outcome was a success. I will be referring everyone I know who needs legal help to see Aaron, Michael or Adam at the Old Port Chambers.

Absolutely disappointed every time I’ve called no one is available to talk I don’t recommend using these guys. Had a court case 2 months ago and yous failed to even ring on my behalf I had to stand for myself. Wouldn’t even let you stand for my worst enemy absolutely appalling!!!!!!!!

Aaron from Old Port Chambers was extremely helpful with the SACAT level 2 application put against me by my local community health treatment team. I had a self administration as an inpatient for a brief psychological illness for cannabis withdrawal syndrome psychosis from withdrawal from medicinal cannabis treatment and Aaron managed to guide me through the process with some great advice as to better my position which ultimately had my community health treatment team withdrawing their own application against me for a level 2 community treatment order.I need to say that the the depot injections given under a cto are no joke - I nearly killed myself due to the Akathisia!!! I don't know if it's just me but I had severe reactions to the depot injections arrapiprazole and paleperidone and the treatment team didn't care and I nearly ended it all. The worst experience of my life as their cure was one million times worse than my illness and Arron's advice ultimately saved me from the abuse of depot injections as they are over the top and wrecked me.I am currently on oral Quetiapine for the next 6 to 12 months as recommended by my own psychiatrist as I'm at risk of a relapse as he said but it's only temporary and for the meantime considering it was due to withdrawal.100% recommend Aaron from Old Port Chambers for all mental health legal concerns.Thanks Aaron

I found all staff at Old Port Chambers to be totally professional, sincere and honestly interested in helping us deal with a very difficult and stressful situation. Adam was always able to be contacted, unless in court, in which case calls were returned as soon as he could do so. He helped us navigate the system financially and seemed not to be solely focussed on being paid but more on helping. I have absolutely no second thoughts in recommending Old Port Chambers and Adam to anyone who finds themselves in need of professional legal help. My dealings with Adam and his staff has restored some of my lost faith in humanity.
