The aftersales service from the manager Richard at the Essendon DFO store has been absolutely fantastic! Despite being under the pump with fewer staff, Richard was so good to make time to come to my house and repair of one of my leather recliner chairs. He is polite, considerate and very knowledgeable about everything to do with furniture. Thanks, Richard. Very much appreciated.

I bought the Brooke Carver dining chairs recently and I am very happy with my purchase. Absolutely, amazing and really good quality. The only issue was not knowing from their team beforehand that they had a 2 week backlog going on with the deliveries which resulted in receiving the chairs 2 weeks later than expected. Overall, happy with the quality of the product.

We went in to look for a couch that was Aussie-made, good quality and was going to last for years to come. We have ordered a beautiful couch (Victorian-based Body Design Furniture) from Essendon Berkowitz with the guidance and insight from the knowledgeable team at this store. Emmanuel was passionate about quality furniture and helped in guiding us with the price points, collaborating with the furniture designer around specific measurements for our space, and ensuring that we got something that worked perfectly for our space, our needs and our budget. They stock a beautiful range of furniture and I would not hesitate in recommending them or buying from them again. Can’t wait to receive our new couch!

On 31/12/22, we went to the Essendon store. While in there, a sales member, Daniel, asked if we were being served, we responded with 'we're just looking, thanks'. Daniel's rude response was ' that wasn't the question I asked'. His manner and tone was rude, condescending and very poor customer service.We had also bought from this store in September (and are waiting for our furniture) and again, had a poor experience with an older female staff member.On this occasion, when she provided the price, my partner said we were happy with that and her response was 'well you should be' - again, an unnecessary and condescending comment. I assume staff work on commission or sales targets so particularly rude of her to say when the sale would have also benefited her. On this same occasion, we noticed that we were the last customers to be greeted/acknowledged and that older customers were always attended to first.Both experiences have been poor, we will never purchase from Berkowitz in the future or ever recommend.

First time shopper, first time buyer here and another HUGE fan of David's!My partner and I needed a sofa to replace our (originally temporary) $150 5 year old sofa. We wanted Aussie made and I used to work at another furniture store and had intended to go there as I knew the products and the staff.... But David absolutely threw spectacular service, extensive product knowledge and a personable attitude at us and we could not find any reason not to buy the Calais from Berkowitz. We could have ordered a brand new one and waited, however it just so happened they were planning to mark the floor stock down the next day and David scored him a deposit that very afternoon by offering a VERY enticing deal that other's could not matchAbsolutely stoked with the couch, I'm so very comfortable all the time! Highly recommended, and always buy Aussie made! You will have no ragrets =P

High quality furniture and excellent service.Geoff was extremely helpful without being a forceful salesperson. We were indecisive but they were very pleasant and accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend Berkowitz Essendon Fields and will shop here again.

We went to Essendon Berkowitz to check out the range in recliners, Jenny was so informative about the difference of all the entry level, at no stage did she pressure us , which is what made us spend more time in the store and ended up purchasing our chair . Since then we have been back and purchased a dinning setting , coffee table and another Stressless chair. We also had Andrew , David and Frank who also gave exceptional service , would recommend Essendon Berkowitz

We cannot fault our experience at the Essendon store. Frank assisted us choosing our sofa and his knowledge and calm approach was so refreshing. His genuine interest in the products and our requirements set him miles ahead of any other experience we have had whilst in the hunt for a new lounge. Frank is an absolute asset to the team and I hope this is recognised. Thanks again for the down-to-earth service you and your team provided.

We bought a dining set 5 years ago. The table is amazing and I love it still. The chairs are supposed to be leather, this is what we were told. About 2 years ago (so when they were 3 years old) the leather on the chairs started peeling. I'm pretty sure leather is not supposed to peel!!! So this can't be leather! Now the chairs look horrible. They are all peeled around the edges, so you can see white material coming through the black supposed leather. It looks terrible. I'm sorry to say I wouldn't buy leather from this company again. Not trustworthy leather"!!!"
