Australian Wildlife Park Albany
a gorgeous little park with some wonderful wildlife. very well cared for by genuinely compassionate staff who were interacting so beuatifully with the animals and the human visitors. thankfully for us we were there around 2pm, many animals had just been fed and were very active, so we could see almost every animal that they had. what a little beauty!

We went here as part of our day at the Whaling Station on the 13th of July. It is a small park but worth a visit. The animals are adorable and there was one man in particular who worked there who was absolutely fantastic. He had so much knowledge, was super friendly and the way he interacted with the animals just proved how well looked after and cared for they are. I didn't catch his name but he was great.

We had a very nice visit to the Albany Wildlife Park today. Although it is not huge there are a lot of unique and rare animals to admire and almost all of them were active when we visited :) Shaun gave us so many information about the animals and told us many stories.

Myself and my family visited the Australian wildlife park in Albany. While we were there we met an very rude wildlife keeper that my family and I were not impressed with. As we had 2 6 year Olds with us, they wanted to have fun. As kids do they are loud and very excited to see animals they haven't before. So at this point the kids were having fun and very loud so for some odd reason a wildlife keeper came along and told up to shut up. The exact words were you wouldn't like if someone can bashing in your door in he middle of the night". Like...so unprofessional. Kids are kids. After this experience we all wanted to leave from the rudeness of the wildlife keeper. Put a good day down. Will never attend again."

A little wildflower garden and wildlife park. We dropped by this little park on the way back from adjacent Whaling Station. Honestly we were not impressed very much by the flowers (the flower beds were well maintained but a bit small), but really enjoyed to see the Australian animals! I’ve never seen such an active wombat! The speaking cockatoo was so lovely too, it said “hello” to us and cried really sadly when we try to leave as if it missed us so much...

Don’t make the mistake of missing the sign with the no food or drink in the area.. unfortunately I didn’t see the sign when entering the park and was met with the rudest man demanding I throw my coffee out immediately! I apologised and explained I didn’t see the sign on the fence that was surrounded by other signs! Honest mistake but the way he spoke to me even after I asked him to calm down was insane! It’s unfortunate and I’m truely sorry I didn’t see the sign… However the young lady working at the park was very kind and great with the kids.. can I suggest putting a bin with a bigger sign at the entrance maybe?

Travelled down to Albany from Perth for the weekend with my family and thought we’d take our small kids to this wildlife park. The gate was closed so I called the number to check if it was open and the person I spoke to on the phone was SO RUDE. Didn’t even answer the phone correctly with the name of the business. I had to ask if I’d called the right place and they said yes this is the number for the wildlife park. Perhaps say that as soon as you answer the phone then?? Just totally rude over the phone. Acted like my questions on if the park was open and how to access it were such a pain to have to answer. We looked up previous reviews and pictures and decided based on the price, the offerings and the rude lady on the phone we won’t bother! Overpriced for what is available. Avoid!!

For the price - 2 places for one price - a nice experience. Love that the animals weren't all caged. The flora was amazing. All round 2 thumbs up. Staff were knowledgeable and keen to protect the fauna too.

Very friendly animals, but is quite small for a wild life park. However still good value as admission to the park is included in the whaling station ticket.

This place is a scam! So few animals, no staff on duty, basically very few tourist there,You don’t deserve to call AUSTRALIA WILDLIFE park!I asked them why don’t have koala, the counter staff told me “passed away”! Sorry to hear that, but you only have one?Wasted $$$ for 10 mins tour, and drove all the way there!
