Queen Victoria Art Gallery at Royal Park
Free entry with many art exhibits to be seen. When I went, I was enraptured by the Tao Sublime showcase and the exhibit on aboriginal migration.There's two floors to this gallery so don't forget to climb the steps up!

Queen Victoria Art Gallery at Royal Park
A very disjointed display. Although there is some colonial artworks, the focus is on modern art and aboriginal displays. The area with the colonial works had modern art pieces scattered between them so it felt quite messy and confusing. One painting even had a projector shining an aboriginal artwork over the top of it. Didn't stay long

Great free gallery. Easy ticketed street parking. Friendly staff on entry. Definitely worth a look. Allow a couple of hours. Small gift shop just left as you enter.

A quaint gallery with free entry and lots of different art forms featured. Can get through it quite quickly but definitely worth a look!

Clean gallery and well maintained. However, not very interesting, Lacking in variety and creativity. Should have included more artist in each room than many pictures from one artist. Very old fashioned.

One of my favourite places in Tasmania. I love the colonial art works (especially John Glover) and I'm still fascinated by the Chinese Joss House even after fifty years!

A really sweet museum, lots to see nice works to see, the local work is really nice. Small but that makes it nice. If around you should stop in and see it.

Yes so much we say out of all the art galleries I’ve ever visited this one stands out is quite unique, varied, diverse, and really quite engaging. I would highly recommend you come visit this place, if not for the art just the hospitality itself is worth the visit alone. Do you check this out if you ever in the area, you will not be disappointed.
