Wow. I have been a loyal Telstra customer for almost 50 years, never used anyone else. But the last 3 or 4 issues I have tried to sort out with them by chat (because you don't seem to be able to actually speak to anyone), I have found it quite difficult to sort out what should be simple issues. My last interaction tonight over trying to receive an email account for my 2 mobile phone services and having one bill sent for my internet and home phone, ended in my being told that the only way I can access my bill is by ME logging in to My Telstra and viewing my account there. What company won't send a bill to their customers, you have to find it yourself on their website. As for one account, apparently they have 2 billing systems, new and old. But don't worry, our people are working on a way to join the systems. Its been like this for a couple of years already, continuing to inconvenience their customers. And I was treated like I was a nuisance in my on-line interaction, spoken to as if my business doesnt matter. So much for nearly 50 years of loyalty. For the first time ever, I am looking elsewhere. VERY POOR FORM TELSTRA. CUSTOMER CARE 1 OUT OF 10.

If I could give zero stars I would. My 80 year old grandparents have had nothing but trouble with their landline since switching to the NBN. DAYS spent going in circles on the phone with the tech support teams (both them and also me), no one wants to talk to customers, being transferred and transferred again, absolutely no ownership of resolving customers problems. The issue is clearly a problem with their line but Telstra won't even consider this. Telstra sent out a new smart modem and blamed the issue on the original modem. This was a baseless waste of time and resources that just kicked the can down the road and created a greater headache for my grandparents. Still no landline weeks later. Appalling.Telecommunications are critical essential services for our senior citizens, for their social connection with society and also their safety, the fact Telstra charge for this level of service and provide absolutely no help is a national disgrace and a failure to support vulnerable members of our community. Without my help they would still have absolutely no connection whatsoever and would have struggled to setup their NBN connection running.I will NEVER use Telstra ever again, both from my personal experience and the experience of my grandparents. Why sell a service if you don't have the time resources or ability to help your own customers or maintain the network? To big to fail? Go to Optus, you'll never look back again. 0/5

Ordered audio equipment, from Telstra. From order to delivery only took 3 days. Exceeded expectations. The tracking system worked very well. Notified upon delivery at the Post Office. Well done.

Refused after nearly two hours of round robining to resolve my issues, to answer my questions, or to give me a case number for the complaint I made. They also refuse to adress me by my name. Disrupted my services, lied about outages, and so forth. Totally useless.

If I could give zero star I definitely would. Worst customer services for NBN. They got my address wrong twice and asked me to reorder twice. They kept me waiting for about 2 months. I chased them every day and nothing progressed at all. Wasting my time and running out of my patience. Super low efficiency and really bad management. No service at all. A lot of staff but no one can really understand the business not to mention resolving any problem. What a disappointing company!!!Update: I turned to OCCOM the same day when I gave up Telstra. Amazingly, they got me connected to NBN within one week!!! That's really impressive!!!

On 24 June I chatted to Telstra and put in a request for my NBN to be disconnected on 14 July. Planning!! Being organised.They assured me via chat that my request was being processed for the future date, howeverThe email confirmation was for immediately.I immediately called and while on hold the Internet was disconnected and my call.Hopeless. Frustrating. Bad bad service

Now up to my fourth complaint with Telstra within a year. They can't keep you on the same plan for more than 6-12 months, and keep switching you to more expensive plans despite advising they are shifting you to a cheaper plan. New billing system now has different payment dates for each device subscription, all direct debit on credit card, no other payment options. Faceless corporation, refuse to acknowledge any fault on their part, can only speak to Customer Service based in Philippines after very long wait time, or chat through app and repeat yourself for 3-4 hours in an endless loop. If you value customer vice and not being ripped off, then choose another provider and don't lock yourself into a device purchase contract through them, because they will not keep up their side of the contract.The most abysmal and depressing customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life, and I've been a customer with them for 15+ years, it's only getting worse.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!As a loyal customer for over 10 years, Telstra diactivated my landline without my permission when I moved to a more reliable provider hence stopping my landline number to be moved over. Called them, they said there was only 1 option to reactivate, which was to sign up to another plan ($55 a month) or put in an online complaint. Have contacted the telecommunication ombudsman, so glad I do not have to deal with them ever again.
