Capital Radiology Somerville

Really disappointed with the service at this clinic. We were left waiting for 10 minutes while the receptionist spoke on her mobile, she didn't even acknowledge I was standing their waiting. The lady that performed the scan didn't really talk to us at all. Upon leaving we were left waiting again whilst the same receptionist was texting then answering her mobile again. Awful experience. Even just to get an appointment i had to leave 3 messages on their answering machine before anyone rang me back. Avoid at all costs.

After being told to come in at 3:15, I waited an hour in the waiting room, only to find out that the receptionist had lost my referral sheet.

I just had ultrasound guided injections in my knees for chronic Arthritis at Capitol in Somerville and it was such a great experience I wanted to share. Gail at the front desk was kind and very helpful and Frank the radiologist was so friendly and makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. One injection on Monday with Dr Yu and the next one in the other knee with Dr Shnier. Both were meticulous with explaining the procedure and what to expect and very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend going there if you are nervous about any procedure you need done. Great experience all round and my knees are feeling fantastic!!

I had a bad experience here getting an ultrasound after having my baby. He was 8 weeks old and the lady doing my ultrasound (after going to lunch and keeping me waiting 45 mins while I was on time to my appointment) made one of the reception girls look after him outside the room. I could hear him crying and it distressed me greatly having to give my baby to a stranger. Then she left the door open while I was getting dressed. Very very unprofessional

I have used the services here many times and have found the staff from reception thru to specialist areas to be very professional and helpful. Cannot understand why some people complain as they are bulkbilled and cost them nothing out of pocket Good work Capital Radiology.

Such wonderful staff at Somerville. I wish I had gotten the names of the staff who helped my father so I could thank them personally. I definitely recommend this facility, especially if you have special needs and require ramp-access.

The reviews had me a bit hesitant, but I needed an ultrasound and this was the closest one. The woman at the front was very nice and my doctor was even nicer, she made me feel so comfortable and made sure I had everything I needed. I am glad I went here.

Useless time wasters. Make you wait 2 weeks after injury occurs to get appointment for ultrasound then tell you at said appointment they need a doctor present and I have to wait another week and a half when it will be pointless getting it because the damn injury will most likely be well on the way to being healed.

I wish I could rate this lower as my experience was unprofessional and I was shown no respect or sympathy from the person that did my ultrasound. I was waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes crying in pain on my knees on the floor. The receptionist realised I wasn’t well and did inform the person who I was seeing, about my situation however he still made me wait in pain for another 10 or so minutes. I was informed bad news and started to cry and all he did was chuck a box of tissues in my lap and told me we were finished and left the room without even asking if I was okay, without even asking if I understood what I needed to do. He just walked out with no care in the world. Absolutely disgusting. I’m not one to write reviews, but this behaviour was so pathetic it made me sick. Especially after the results. No respect whatsoever. Shame on you.
