Linburn Nursing Home
BEWARE.DON’T PLACE LOVED ONES HERELinburn failed.Deserves 0,0...1 .rating.Linburn never called to discuss my mother’s medical situation many long hours possibly days prior to my mother being admitted to Hospital. My mother died a slow and painful death from aspiration pneumonia as a result of being here. Linburn’s staff including the owner, in house Dr, head of nursing and carers responsible for my mother, should be ashamed and out of business. My mother was treated worse than an injured animal or a prisoner in Goulburn supermax. If you want your loved ones treated with care, dignity and respect and not over medicated, not charged to label clothing that is never worn, placed in over crowded rooms, given a warm shower, fed with nutritious feed and fed so they don’t aspirate (along with other unacceptable practices), I implore you, DO NOT place your loved ones in this ‘care facility’. Camera’s in nursing homes should be mandatory. Perhaps if I had placed a nanny cam in the room, my mother would still be alive and not so appallingly neglected.

This is a terrible nursing home, the elderly here are malnourished look sickly thin due to the substandard nutritionless food they serve. The staff who work here are incredibly lazy. They are also money fleecers.

Having a loved family member enter a nursing home is a tough thing to face, but thanks to the lovely staff and care at Linburn my dear father Bernard Falk had a comfortable and happy two years before his death. Family members could visit at any time until 8.00 pm without prior arrangement, and Dad was always freshly showered and dressed. The meals were of a good quality. One of the nicest things was that residents who were unable to walk were wheeled onto the outdoor patio area to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in the morning, rather than just sit in their rooms all day. There were regular activities and social engagement was encouraged. A nice place, with good staff and management.
