Kando Martial Arts Blackburn South
My daughter joint Blackburn South Kando club over a year and developing her self defend techniques quickly, also built her own confident in many different ways. She loves all the training sessions, feeling excited each time she goes to her training and enjoying her time with her mates every week. Chris is an amazing trainer. He is passionate, well organized, disciplined but also very fun and patient. He is inspired all the students and give them great encouragement during the trainings. You should bring your kids to the center and do a trial. I’m sure your kids will love Chris and his training too.

My son has been attending Kando Blackburn south for over a year now. He's transitions from the little dragons class which is pretty relaxed and fun, not too serious which suits the younger kids to now white belt class (7+ yo) which is getting more into the proper techniques and grading. Through all this the one thing that stands out from other martial art organisation is that they are dedicated to the well being of the kids and families having mat chats about topics that kids may face in their day to day lives and mental health checks. And lastly of course the instructors r kind, fun, encouraging and great with kids. What more can U ask for.

An excellent hall to do Karate in. Comfortable, air conditioned and with toilets.Kando Martial Arts do really well with the kids. They understand how to teach self defense. We've had nothing but good experiences and a growing respect for the teachers at Kando, Blackburn South.

Kando Martial Arts Blackburn South has been an excellent choice for our family and my Daughter, has learnt immensely from her classes. She has not just got a goal in life but the confidence to pursue them as well and I am deeply thankful to our wonderful Sensei Chris who has been instrumental in this. I look forward for Gargi to have more and more of this experience and learnings and will forever support and cheer up the Blackburn south team for this wonderful journey so far. We have two daughters that are training with Chris and both of them absolutely love it. He has very unique approach how to motivate and inspire people. The Kando Bluckburn has strong sense of community. We would highly recommend to give it a try.

Chris and the team are exemplary instructors able to connect with toddlers, kids, teens and adults alike. Classes are very inclusive whilst still being challenging. The course is well structured and brings together all the elements of martial arts back to a more complete system reminiscent of what I believe Okinawan karate was before it was modernised and split into the elements it's in today. I'm just annoyed at myself for not starting it sooner. My 5 year old also is learning resilience, discipline, and how to handle herself. She thoroughly enjoys the classes and now can't wait for the next one!
