Ordering on the app here doesn’t make it quicker, you’re better off going straight in and ordering. On numerous occasions I’ve turned up after ordering on the app and still had to wait 10+mins because they haven’t looked at the online orders. A lot of staff here don’t want to make eye contact and act like they’re too busy so many customers wait longer than they have to. This morning ordered one regular breakfast burrito and one Big breakfast burrito. Couldn’t tell the difference in size (see photo) when I got back to my car and was in too much of a rush because they took so long to take them back. Guzman tastes great but if you want it fast with great customer service, Top Ryde’s not the best place to go.

The food was average by considering the price ( 3 out of 5). However, the staff was very rude and bare minimum understanding of how behave with customers.They asked me to pay twice for the food although the transaction was processed in my bank account. Their system had problem in printing receipts but the staff was not aware of that.I tried hardly to explain him how banking transactions are working.I trained him some fundamentals although I shouldn’t do that. The company MUST train their staff before putting them in front of the customers.

I usually love Guzman Y Gomez and I go to other stores quite often but my experience at the Top Ryde store always seems to disappoint. I’ve placed orders at this store a few times now and whether it be poor customer service, receiving the wrong order, sloppy presentation or cold meat (weird because it’s cooked fresh) I’m never left with a smooth experience. Further staff training is definitely required. I will continue to dine at other Guzman Y Gomez stores but I will not return to this one until changes have been made.

First time there today, I had Beef Nachos and a Frozen Margarita. The nachos were delish and quite a large serving, the Margarita was nice too but not very strong and no salt on the cup. I will have to return to try other items on the menu.

Guzman y Gomez - Top Ryde
We used to love this place, but this time we visited top ryde and decided to have dinner here as it has always been great in the past. This time unfortunately had a totally different experience. First of all the food was way smaller than it used to be and worst of all the veggies were old and spoiled. Terrible experience and won’t be back.

I love Guzman y Gomez, but the Top Ryde store is rubbish. Multiple times they have gotten the wrong order, wrapped and made the burritos poorly and left things out of orders. Tonight we paid for 2 meals, paid for 2 and only received one chips. We also ordered a dipping sauce which was wrong too. It’s often very busy but I have no idea why!If you want Guzman, it’s worth the extra 5 minute drive to go to Rhodes, it’s so much better.

Really disappointed with the portion size even after ordering large burrito bowl! Talk about cost cutting and really spoiling someone’s dinner/ weekend plans. We opened the order after reaching home and couldn’t do anything about this except feeling cheated and having to order elsewhere!!!!
