Love this store! Staff always seem so happy and are always helpful. Love talking to them about their snakes. And are always happy for me to have a look at them and have a hold. They have a great range of products and the girls I have spoken to have great knowledge on their animals and products. They're always open for questions and concerns. Couldn't recommend them more.

Was horrified to walk past the other day and see so many animals in tiny glass cages. No way for an animal to live, adopt don't shop. So so many beautiful animals of all kinds waiting to be adopted at our local shelters. Don't shop here and they will eventually go out of business. You pay way more at a pet store and you're doing the wrong thing by buying from them!

We bought our beautiful American Akita puppy here a number of years ago...We only considered buying from here as Anita's are hard to get and my wife grew up with one.We hadn't seen the reviews.. it may have been before most of the bad ones.Same story however.. 'the dog is from a breeder. parents are pure-bred but no papers'Within 2 years we had to make a big call and that was it she was gone.She did her ACL, And a hereditary uncurable disease.we miss out big beautiful girl..we allege.. underlying issues.we still call in now and then to see if any of her relatives are there..the puppy's always look fatigued and lethargic.

I don't even want to give one star. The animal enclosures are appalling! Puppies, bunnies, Guinea pigs and rodents should NOT be kept in glass enclosures! Puppies should be bouncing around and full of energy, instead they were lethargic and panting their lungs out due to the humidity inside the enclosure! One poor pup did not look well at all. I also overheard the store assistant speaking with a customer about the animals in these enclosures and that they don't get taken home at night due to them being sick on the way because of the time they feed them in store. There would several ways around this!! Just disgusting!

Please buy animals from a breeder!.Not very well versed with what animals they're selling. Asked a while ago for an agouti blue" rat (which are light grey). They reply quickly which is great but the worker sent me photos of a fawn coloured rat which isn't the type I meant.The toys they sell are very expensive and the mouse/rat wheels are too small therefore inappropriate for the animal.I have gotten many rats in the past with respiratory issues here

Great range, staff knowledgeable & helpful. I have newly diagnosed Diabetic Cat, and they were very helpful with Diabetic snacks and especially in use of the WONDERS OF CATNIP!! Helped decrease his stress (POOR baby) and therefore mine. Really worth a look!!

betta (fighting fish) were not looked after at all. they were in tanks the size of a cup of water, with multiple males only separated by a glass wall. they all had finrot, and it was advertised that you could get three males with the tiny tank for $60. the tanks they sold for these fish held barely 500ml and they had no heater or filter or anything. the care for the mammals and rodents was also terrible. Budgies had a seed only diet with dirty water and no substrate. Very disappointed this shouldbt be legal

A good range of toys and accessories but absolutely disgusting to see animals, especially puppies and kittens in glass cages.A fish tank recommended for a siamese fighting fish about the size of the fish.Im so disgusted in this still being allowed, and a business CHOOSING to do this. Animals cruelty at it's finest. For that reason I won't ever spend a cent in this store.

Highly recommend this store. Was impressed by the friendly staff and their knowledge on reptiles. All of the snakes had hides and were shown the snakes and they were friendly and happy. All the animals had toys water and were well fed. Have been helped many times with issues i have had at home with my pets. All in all very happy and will continue to shop here.

First off, im not mad, I absolutely love this store, come all the time. But in early November I bought 2 male Guinea pigs from here because my other one lost his mate and needed some new friends. I’ve had them for 80 days now and in worried one of them is infact a female, not a male and is now pregnant, because obviously they live with two males.
