Dogtainers Adelaide

Given one star as I cant give them -10. Absoluteley awful experience. Once you pay their quote, that's it. Poor communications, website has incorrect information on it. After getting a contact thru social media, local manager told me that there is no record of any dogs due to arrive today. Just fortunate that our sender helped us out, and yes our dog did arrive today. Never even will use this company again!

Got in contact with them in January to organise to send my pets overseas. Got a quote but no follow up, got ignored when I sent pictures of my crates. Tried to contact them a few times, always was asked to leave a message which was never followed up. Eventually when I got cranky and rang the Adelaide office in March, was told to ring Melbourne, then ring Brisbane, then talk to Perth. Found out no one had even been assigned to my case. Brisbane office told me that they aren't currently sending pets to the location I was going to but no one mentioned this when they took my quote request. Went with a competitor, was taken excellent care of and was charged $2000 less than what they estimated me.

The biggest upside is dogtainers answer the phone and quote on the spot. We don’t always have time to email 10 companies or apply online.But one quote was never processed. My surname was spelled incorrectly on another. They don’t respond quickly to emails, and when they don’t answer the phone, voicemails don’t get returned. They should tell you to call back soon instead of waiting all day for something that was never gonna happen.I called to request they action my recipients quote request, I’d locked in a Saturday morning flight. They told the recipient they’d get a Tuesday flight.Another quote I was told to update with recipient phone number. No reply to the email. I mentioned it on a phonecall, the lady that did the quote wasn’t in that day (big deal). I asked on the phone that the information I submitted be attached to the file and was told they would.But the pup arrived interstate at 7:30 Melbourne time, 10pm melb time staff called me to ask if I was picking the puppy up. I’m the sender, not the recipient. The recipient details were never stored and nobody bothered to attempt contact until 10pm at night. So the pup was picked up somewhere between 10:30 and 11:30pm. After being loaded at 3:30…. It’s a one hour flight.Such an incredible amount of room left for improvement. If I have time to organise things in future it’s unlikely that I’d use dog tainers, and this review is essentially what I’d tell anyone that wanted pet transport. Very disorganised.

Appalling pricing, got my pets transported $1200 less than the quote was from dog trainers, Areo pets are elite! Top service and there pricing is awesome!

Dog trainers Brisbane I would never use again. Sheer incompetence and excuse after excuse. Final insult was extra $600 added to my quote because of a “Klink” in their system. Never heard that one before but I suppose operator didn’t have time to come up with a better one. I’d read the reviews and thought no they couldn’t be that bad but yep, they were and more.

The booking process was quick and easy as well as cost effective for great service. Dogtainers was able to get our kitten booked in on a flight 2 days after we called. The pickup process wasn’t complicated which was a blessing as we were stressed about getting everything ready for our kittens arrival. We would recommend Dogtainers to safely transport your fur babies.

The booking experience wasn’t too bad but required a lot of “gentle pushing” to get things done. I had to call to chase up the quote quite a few days after placing a request on the website and hearing nothing. Once I received the quote and accepted the quote, again I heard nothing and had to call up. I was told there was an issue with the quote as the crate hire hadn’t been added and it would be redone. Again I received nothing and with the flight date approaching, I had to call and ask for the booking itinerary and the invoice so I could pay to secure the booking. The staff on the phone were always friendly and very helpful when I called and sorted out any issue but I can’t help but think that my dogs wouldn’t have been transported if I hadn’t always chased them up. The absolute worst part of the experience was my dogs being forgotten about at the airport when they arrived. They arrived on a late evening flight so I paid the extra to have them delivered to the house as I wouldn’t be able to pick them up with two babies at home. I was told it could be a couple of hours after they land before they are cleared to leave so don’t worry if it seems to take a while… I was anxiously waiting and waiting. I eventually tried to call the contact number on my booking form but there was no answer so I continued to wait. Then I received a call from a lovely man at Qantas freight who got my number off the crate paperwork saying my dogs had been sitting at the airport for hours and asked when was I picking them up because they just closed at 9pm. I explained that I had paid the courier fee for them to be collected and delivered but he said no couriers had arrived to collect them. My husband ended up leaving work and doing a mad dash to the airport to collect them and the nice man at Qantas freight stayed after he was supposed to be well and truly finished work so we could collect them. Dogtainers were very apologetic when I contacted them the next day and refunded all the courier fees straight away and explained they had taken the booking from me but never actually logged the delivery request with a local courier. I would be very hesitant using them again myself, however I have friends who have used them without any issue. Maybe I just got a bad bounce!

I would not hesitate in recommending Dogtainers to transport your pets interstate. They recently transported our labrador puppy from Hobart to Melbourne and back again for tricky surgery at Southpaws in Moorabin. They collected our puppy on time and kept us informed every step of the way. The costs were fair and the staff were great to deal with. A great service 5 stars.

Our dear cat-children were lovingly cared for by the Launceston team.They welcomed them into their home and treated them like honoured guests until they were ready to depart for Melbourne.And despite the typical stresses you'd expect a cat to experience in air travel, they arrived home relaxed and no worse for wear.I would wholeheartedly recommend Dogtainers to anyone.

Isabel had a long trip from Perth to Sydney then onto Newcastle . But the she was well looked after and arrived in great condition. The driver text me with updates along the way . I would highly recommend Digtainers Australia
