Metrospect Building and Pest Inspections

Used metrospect few months ago, to start with they send us the wrong report (a different property), they amended it. The inspector when I called him told a different story from the report on more then 2 occasions. It made us very confused but we did purchased the property. Now we have people come to do general fix and they have told us this should be picked up at the inspection but it wasn't. Would not recommend metrospect to anyone.

Great experience with Metrospect when I needed a building inspection done with short notice. Tania was super helpful with arranging everything. Mouhamad completed the inspection and answered all my questions during the inspection. I got the report the same night. Thank you for such a great experience. Metrospect were fantastic. I used them recently for a building a pest inspection on a home I've purchased and I couldn't be happier with their service. Quick, easy process for obtaining a quote and booking in and a very good, well detailed report provided following the inspections. The contractor Mouhamad called me straight after the inspection and took his time in fully explaining what he had found, and even took the time to chat about possible renovation and extension ideas. Very happy.

The process was so easy and productive. With such short notice Tania fitted my inspection in on a Saturday morning and was always available for after hours texts to tee things up. Super efficient, we met the builder John at the inspection which was great to have an easy conversation, he was very thorough and super helpful with giving advice on the things we want to do to the property. I had no issues with this company. Rang in the morning, they worked out how to fit me in as I wanted the inspection done during the cooling off period. This might not be possible for all clients, but they reshuffled a bit to get it done the following day. This is the first inspection I have ordered so I didn't know what to expect, but the written report was very detailed with items I could take on board once I purchase the house, but now I have the confidence to go ahead with the purchase. I would recommend this company for house inspections. My only small issue was that the photo quality in the PDF was a little low so for photos of wall cracks it was a little hard to see. But really I was very happy with the outcome.

We have used Metrospect for a second time and the service is second to none.During the first inspection they have noted a major defect in the shower when running the water, something you would simply not test when doing regular inspections.Both times we have used Metrospect they have been extremely responsive, professional and most of all knowledgeable. Highly recommend using these guys for a non-invasive inspection around Melbourne.

Very impressed with the service from Metrospect. They were expeditious in their response to our enquiry and booking with the agent for the inspection. The verbal report was friendly and knowledgeable, and the 124 page written report was thorough, informative and easy to understand. They exceeded our expectations and gave us a very clear understanding that enabled us to make an informed decision whether to proceed with the purchase of the property. Highly recommended!

TAKE NOTE.Very professional when the job was organized and the paperwork that was completed. When it comes to the inspection, different story, I have replaced bearers/studs from Termite damage, a whole door frame that became loose also from Termite damage, plumbing that was not connected and the waste water went straight to the ground, water leaks and so forth. For the money I paid there is definitely no guarantees from them that you are purchasing a stable and well structured home. It has taken me months and thousands of dollars to fix these items. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I employed them thinking they would be able to advise me that the home im purchasing was in good nick. It was the total opposite and im still finding problems. SHAME ON THEM!

We had an amazing experience with Metrospect. The inspection was organised within a day, and then a full written report was provided a day later! The report was extremely comprehensive with many photos provided to support the written information. We even had a call from the inspector to go through a brief overview orally.Tania from the office was amazing, excellent communication, extremely prompt and professional in all her replies, and was very clear with the information provided.We'll definitely be using Metrospect again when we need another inspection completed.

Emailed these guys and the response was next day. Had the pre purchase building/pest inspection done. A 20+ page report, a phone call to go over the findings and then of course the copy of the report was all done on the same day.The person who did the report was fantastic, called and discussed the issues. Was very impressed with the level of detail and also how he responded to my questions.100% would use Tania and her team again.
