Ashmore Community Children's Centre

I absolutely LOVE Ashmore Community Kindy! It’s a hidden little gem on the GC. I only found out about this centre through word of mouth as they don’t normally advertise. This is my daughters 3rd kindy/daycare in 2 years and I’m so happy that we have FINALLY found the perfect one. She has never been happier and she (and I) absolutely loves all the teachers and I love how they not only provide a caring, nurturing environment where they encourage learning through play but each day is structured and there is a curriculum that the teachers follow so I know it’s not just a babysitting service like some other centres we’ve been to. They have awesome outdoor playgrounds and provide natural bushlands for the children to encourage imaginative play. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a Kindy in the Ashmore area. It’s small with only 3 classes including nursery, junior kindy and kindy..and with a max of 44 kids at the centre you know your child will be well cared for and get the one on one attention they need. The best kindy! This is our third kindy where my daughter went and we knew from first day this the best one. It is small centre so you know everyone and you feel you are part of the family. In the other centres it took few weeks for my daughter to settle but here it was from the first day. She started here when she was 3 years old (we were on a waiting list). She loves the the backyard, it is huge for the amount of children in the centre. She enjoys monkey bars, swings, mud kitchen and jungle. All the educaters are lovely, very relax and put the children priorities first. You feel that your children are in good hands. Also all the kids have good manners and my daughter felt welcome straight away. In the previous centre some girls weren't talking to other girls and there were days when my daughter told me she played by herself because the other girls don't want to be friends with her. But not in Ashmore Community Children Centre, that never happened.My son started here when he was just over 1 year and didn't have any issues to settle in.The kindy has only 3 rooms. My daughter was in Kindy room for 2 years and my son started in babies room and now he is in toddler room. He loves the male educator in toddler room, he brings different games and activities which only male can do.The list can go on why Ashmore Community Children Centre is the best kindy. I highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed! I think that they still have some vacancies for 2019, so if you are looking for aa kind, come over and meet the great people in Ashmore Community Children Centre!

Amazing! I would not have sent my children anywhere else... such a beautiful, nurturing environment. The staff are like family.Do yourself a favor and check this Center out, you'll feel it as soon as you walk in!

This is a wonderful Child Care Centre that has excellent educators and lovely large natural gardens and playgrounds. Both my boys started there at approx 8 months of age and continued attending until they started Prep - so we were at the centre about 7 years in total. The staff are caring, loving and have so many years of experience. The early learning opportunities they provide are fantastic and the care and attention given is amazing as it is a small centre with only 44 children there each day. They are a hidden gem on the Gold Coast.

Little Athletics program on a Saturday. All run by volunteers, small and personal club, would recommend to all families.
