I have rented all over Brisbane for the last nine years with a range of different agencies, and Harcourts Astute Paddington has been, by far, the best property manager we have leased through. We recently decided to purchase our own home and notified Harcourts in advance that we were expecting to break lease when our property sale went through. Both Lawret and Ayden were easy to contact, pleasant to work with and walked us through the steps of breaking lease to remove any stress from the process. Hmm Harcourts Astute Paddington! We started renting early 2021 and have had nothing but issues with Harcourts. Our property manager hardly replies and or doesn’t receive emails we send her, the owner does not seem to care about the status of the home but only money flow. Issues with home, no insulation in the roof or in any major rooms, door handles have been threaded and keep falling off, laminate constantly peeling up, water leaks from the patio which makes it unusable which then leads to water coming into the kitchen giving a waterfall affect. Paid an extra $10 for aircon which is pointless with no insulation as well as the aircon is constantly leaking onto tv and electrical PowerPoints, windows and doors are not square with frame so even when doors and windows are closed/locked there are gaps where people can easily break in as well as some windows not locking at all. We are happy we have a roof over our heads but is a shame of how little people care about the houses they rent to people.

This agency has been looking after our property for a number of years now and they have always been friendly, reliable and professional in their approach.
