After a weather event in October 2021, a tree belonging to Melbourne Water on the Patterson River fell into our backyard. We lodges a claim with CGU and intially they assigned a builder from QLD who had subcontracted out the works to a small contractor. After advising CGU we were in Melbourne, CGU, reassigned the repair works to UBS. The assessor from UBS was attentive to our claim, however once the excess was paid to UBS, it all went down hill from there. I had to follow up UBS on not less than 11 occasions(via Email) to action works for the pool glass, pool repairs and boundary fence which never actually got.replaced. I reached out to CGU management who recommended to undertake the fence replacement myself in lieu of waiting foUBS fence contractors, as they were too busy to address out claim. So customer's beware that UBS are either too busy to deliver your claim or see your claim as insignificant and hope you'll go away. Bitterly disappointed and hope UBS can learn from this feedback and rating

I cannot say enough about this amazing company and amazing service. From day one to days after my works were completed, the communication, transparency and care that was shown especially with Cheryl was second to none. I am so so grateful that I had Unique Building Services complete my repairs.

Was abit of a struggle to get the job going with it taking roughly 5 months before works to actually begin, even having a run in with some of their team who struggled to see eye to eye with me as their client. Once works had begun the whole tone of my experience with UBS changed. The trades were exceptional, punctual and thorough in their works. Amy from the office who was allocating trades and checking in was also really supportive and understandable of the whole situation and went above and beyond to finish the job.

I had the misfortune to have Unique Building Services appointed by my Insurance company to replace a shed damaged in storms of June 2021. I contacted them on numerous occasions regards the dangerous condition of the remaining structure and the demolition of it and had little response. After 20 months I organized the demolition myself. Finally the new Shed has been delivered but is unable to be built because they haven,t organized concreters. Would not recommend them.

After the floods in 2022 we were assigned ubs Shepparton by our insurance company once things got rolling we could not fault the tradespeople bent over backwards to make sure we were happy end result is fantastic.
