A favourite place to visit, beautiful clear water, even on a busy day there is always plenty of room to swim. There isn't a lot a shade so come prepared! Also remember to take your rubbish away with you.

Beautiful picnic/BBQ site, nice for a family or group day away. Clean toilets. Bring a hat as shady sitting is mainly under trees. Very cold water but a nice swim too. Wear shoes when in the water or keep your feet off the bottom. Road heading in needs some attention, is just drivable in a non-4WD.

Its shady.. but bring mozzie repellent.. a 44gallon drum of it might do for the first couple hours.

Good camp area until. Probably with day visitors parking in the camp sites and lack of enforcement from qld parks and wildlife. Some locals were extremely rude and did even remove their cars when asked. We left 4 days early with no refund after our last visit.
