Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village
Great sound and light show! Great family viewing and special parts that I won't give away and spoil for other attendees. Informative and we went during the day to look at the village, it was very quaint and the kids as well as us big kids lifted the pulleys etc. It was a nice outing while we were in Warnambool. Tour guides were very knowledgeable about the area. Would totally recommend.

We participated in a free guided tour conducted by Gerald. Very informative. We then did our own self guided tour. An excellent replicated village and display of memorilbilia. Very friendly volunteers. Loved it.

Definitely a must do. There is enough parking and also spaces for long vehicles. Most of the staff members are volunteers. 19.50$ the entrance per adult. We spent 3 hours, because we followed a free tour that started at 11:30 and lasted an hour. Lovely tour with Leigh who is really passionate about the upkeepung of the museum. You can go for longer if you have lunch at the cafe. It is child orientated. For the holidays, there is a wood, toy, building activity held by the men shed of Warmambool and other activities for them. It is also very interesting for adults. We enjoyed walking around.

Wonderful experience. We visited on a rainy day and this did not detract from the experience. Highly recommend the day and night package. The tea room/cafe was delicious and reasonably priced.

Really interesting and quaint. The tour guide did a great job informing the group about the sinking of the Loch Ard and its two survivors. The little village contained various buildings including workshops, a dressmaker shop, sweetshop, a church and tearooms to name a few. One of the lighthouses was open and we could climb up to the top to a great view of the bay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit

This was a great activity! Went on a whim and we are glad we did. Fantastic detailed displays with a fun scavenger hunt for the kids. The village was very quiet, not much going on in the way of activities but it was still lovely wandering the cobble stone streets and stepping back in time.

Great place for families and anyone, who is interested in stepping back in time and seeing what sailors and migrants saw the first time they stepped onto Australian soil. Some volunteers had some great information about the time so it is well worth asking them questions. Some were dressed in old time clothing and looked great, but some really spoiled their look at times by not trying to dress the part...a great old dress and sneakers!!?? Anyway, it is well worth a visit and it was fascinating to learn a bit more about this area and the shipwreck coast.

What a sensational place to visit when in Warrnambool. The tour guide around the place has the best stories. You're allowed to walk anywhere you want and there is even little stores to visit like a lollysop and tea+scones cafe and even a chapel for the religious person. We got lucky with the weather being spectacular but can imagine even on a cold winter's day this place is worth the stop. Budget a couple of hours to see everything. There is a massive carpark for tour buses too.

Amazing views and the place has the capability to take you back to that era. The night show is the real backbone of what brings people into this facility in flocks. Dont miss the Night show.
