Discovery Parks - Bright

My husband and I stayed in a standard 2 bedroom cabin. We found it super clean, with lovely sparkling white sheets and towels. It was very well equipped, and the cabin was located in well maintained grounds. The staff were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the beauty of the area and were most comfortable in our accommodation.

ANYONE WHO HAS KIDS DO NOT BOOK THESE CABINS UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR CHILDS SAFETY AND LIFE. We had a very scary experience. We booked a newly built cabin. The design of the entry door lock is such that it cant be locked from inside. It had a lever handle which can be opened easily by any child. Our 2 year old son opened it and ran straight out while i was talking to the staff at the reception. Lucky there were no cars. We couldnt relax since we arrived as we had to constantly monitor our 2 year old because of the front entry door handle. I was shocked to see how it could have passed safety regulations. Some child could potentially die. We changed our cabin to the one where we could lock the door internally. It wasted our one hr in the rain moving everything from 1 cabin to the other.I am not sure if incident report was raised by the staff or any immediate action was taken to replace those entry door handles. If anything happens to any child there..discovery staff will have blood on there hands...

More value than what you spend. The staff here are very considerate of the guests. The cabin was spotless when I arrived and has a well equiped kitchen, hot water and AC and all other appliances which made my stay as comfortable as home.

Spacious affordable and so accommodating!We stayed one night in the superior cabin. It was spacious, warm and clean. Check in and out was easy, with the park management being so accomodating for a late check in after a day skiing at Falls Creek. Great location close to Bright and surrounding ski resorts. We woke up with mountain views and the sound of kookaburras. We’ll be back!

Beautiful park to stay in. Lovely and peaceful while we were there. Would definitely stay here again. Staff lovely too.

Nice enough spot. Rooms are as you would expect at any other similar park. The actual site is really quite nice but located 10 mins drive outside of Bright and considering it is off season, a little pricey.

Our family loves this park. We have stayed here multiple times. It sits right on the Ovens river and has several great facilities synonymous with decent caravan parks including an amazing heated pool, plenty of tracks for biking, Scooters, or walks. Plus a bouncing pillow, playground and excellent amenities across the site.

Second time visiting. Lovely location with a nice walk along the river. Quite and relaxing to get away for a few days. Thank you to the friendly and welcoming staff!
