Altitude On Montville

An amazingly wonderful view and highly recommended for a romantic stay with a special someone. We stayed at the motel and also dined at the in-house restaurant. The room was actually their disability access room, as it was the only room left to book at short notice but that honestly made no difference to the experience.There were plenty of towels, soaps and shampoo. The room was well appointed and clean. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and a perfect combo of soft and supportive. The room had a spa bath that was deep and easily fits a couple for that romantic soak together. they even had bath salts to add to the spa to melt the tension of the day away. The quality of the spa bath itself and the jets/massage/ adjustable settings was really good too.With the room at street level, there was a bit of noise from guests arriving and leaving, but nothing too distracting. I would suggest requesting room higher up or at the back without a view for a quieter experience. Our room did have a nice view.The menu at the restaurant is very French inspired and the food itself is quite well presented and tasted really nice. The prices were about what you’d expect in tourist areas. We had the chicken dish and the baileys dessert. The menu isn’t huge, but everything we saw come out to other diners looked well presented and plates were leaving empty. Definitely worth a visit and their cocktails look quite lovely too.

Dined here on Saturday night (April 29th) and had the most amazing experience.The staff were wonderful, all of them with a smile on their faces - piper & lock were exceptional in their customer service. I asked for a particular cocktail - which they didn’t have but they made me one even better then the one I wanted ! It was soooo good! Tasted like grape bubblegum (ask for an old fashion made on grape vodka if you went to try one!!!!!)The food was phenomenal!!!!!! The flavours were just next level! We ordered the bruschetta & lobster tail & ended up ordering another serve right after because they were just so good!Everything had so much flavour it was just beyond our expectations.The atmosphere of the restaurant was a complete vibe - dark with Just the right amount of light. They also had a beautiful little fireplace for some extra coziness + they provided a blanket if you got cold! It was just perfect and we cannot wait to come back & dine again!

I wanted to write a good review for this place.We went there at 12.45 on a Sunday afternoon after seeing their opening times on the weekend lunch from 11am till 3pm.We were told they were closed & to go down the road to the pub...No tapas or cocktails for us...Sadface.

Had dinner there last night - perfect ambience, views and service. The food was scrumptious - Duck Three Ways !!Piper made the night - exemplary service. The fire added to the romance and the warmth of the night ! Must be one of the best restaurants on the mountain - and one of the few restaurants open on a Wednesday night.

It took 3 hours for a 3 course meal. It was lunch time and we were the only guests for majority of the time.Food looked nice but tasted very average.For the price, we expected more.Everything was deconstructed which did effect the taste.Servicings were also very small.Can't say it'll be our first choice next time we visit Montville.

Even though we booked through an Airbnb, the service at Altitude is by far the best place I have ever stayed. All employees were so lovely and accommodating. The $15 cocktails and tapas has a great selection and divinely delicious. The view itself is such a win and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant/accommodation exudes luxury. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and we most definitely will be coming back.

Extremely Clean! That’s something I have to say about the place. And very good amenities. We stayed at the two bedroom apartment, and the facilities were super. Situated in a small town the Pub next door served a delicious meal and also has a 10% off discount for anyone staying at the hotel. Will be back!

Lovely studio room - the spa bath on the balcony was amazing. It was a beautifully presented and clean room. Our bed was comfortable and the fireplace gave a nice ambiance to the room. Small suggestions for improvement would be that our room didn't have any milk, coffee, plates, cutlery or bath salts. For the price per night these items should are expected.Only major gripes which were frustrating for myself as a business owner was the in-house internet connection is woeful and frustrating and hotspotting from a mobile phone is impossible even with Telstra as the mobile reception is poor in the area. OH! And no bottle shops in Montville which forces you to spend $50+ dollars on a bottle of wine at a restaurant.

This place is stunning. The views and the room were amazing. The staff were so friendly and I highly reccomend the restaurant and the breakfast platter!
