2.7/10 An extremely poorly run company. Poor management and extremely flloored business strategy and policies.Terrible staffPoor stock controlTerrible attitudesBest to go buy online from other vendors buy online save cash save time save headaches.Don't do it!!Edit:I think the one star reviews cover my issue. Poor management, terrible staff utterly useless. Bad store practices. This is why we all switch to online. Just purchased the same item online 30% cheaper with postage.I hope store's like yours fade in to the background.

I do not recommend shopping at Daisy and Hen.After having some difficulty shopping on their website during a sale, my purchase was processed at full price. I contacted the store about my issue, asking for the discount to be applied or order cancelled but they refused(!) and said they could only offer credit for the difference, online only, not including postage. Seems like such a simple fix but all too hard for the greedy store.Seriously, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. This store is not unique and you can find these products elsewhere- minus the drama!

Be very cautious. For a gift for my newborn nephew I ordered three items but was only sent one. I thought the other two items might be sent separately so I waited a few weeks to contact the business. I was told all checks out on their end" and they suggested I check with the courier the package may have been tampered with.I highly doubt the postie opened the package and stole a baby beanie and soft toy. Seems like I paid over $100 for a baby onesie.I had hoped to resolve it with the store directly

Daisy and Hen became my go-to online shopping spot for my son during the long Melbourne lockdown, their team is the best, happy to offer suggestions, interactive on instagram and responsive to email enquiries and their product/brand range is huge. Really the only sad thing is that we can't come visit in person! (you better believe if we take a trip to Adelaide it will be No.1 on my list). Toby is in head-to-to D&H here and holding his D&H Jellycat Toffee doggie which he is obsessed with.

Update; Feb 2022 Love how Daisy and Hens response to a negative review ; claiming I was rude and abusive to staff??? LET'S MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR... NOT ONCE WAS I ABUSIVE TO YOUR SHOP STAFF OR OVER EMAIL. I noticed all your negative reviews are responded to in the same way. It's never Daisy and Hens fault... Always the customer. Also the bucket and spade set still does not work properly after a long period of testing................................................................................Really disappointed with Daisy and Hen. Placed a click and collect order of $49.95. Went into the store later that day to see when I could be expecting the order. Was told by store staff the product was coming in from interstate and could take a week to come into store??? The product was there in store on the shelf, so I asked to cancel my online order and asked if I could get one from the store as its on the self. I was told I had to buy the bucket and spade set because they can't cancel my order. I tried all day to get in contact with someone to cancel this order because now I spent a further $49.95 buying it in store because I was not aware that a click and collect order would take this long. Long story short, the shop staff as lovley as they where are clearly not informed about where the order would come from because by the time I received an email back from customer care saying they can now only provide me with a online credit because they saw I purchased the same product in store. Due to this being a change of mind purchase they can't provide me with a refund. So I have now got to spend a further $49.95 with a store that I never planned on.Notes for future customers. 1.Read their refund policy first before purchasing. 2. Don't expect to much from a click and collect order. 3. There is no contact numbers for customer care. 4. The customer care team takes no responsibility for any mistakes on their end, and throws you with all their T&C apply policies. 5. Communication is a 0 out of 5. They don't want to deal with customer complaints. Also if you plan on purchasing the silicone bucket play set, save your money. The spade bends when trying to scoop beach sand and the molds don't work. The sand gets stuck in them. The only good thing out of the set is the bucket and the bag it comes in. Definitely the worst purchase yet.

I am generally not one to post reviews however have attended the Glenelg store a few times (sometimes to browse and others because there was something specific I wanted to purchase which I knew they stocked). As a shop that stocks products for babies and children, I can’t get over how un user friendly it is for those with prams. On each occasion I have needed to bring my baby (and pram) with me into the store and it is almost impossible to navigate through the store when it is empty let alone when there are other customers. The last time I attended the store I approached the counter to make a very simple, straightforward purchase (of one small item of lowish monetary value). As I reached the counter the store phone rang. The shop assistant proceeded to answer the phone and rather than placing the phone on hold, assisted this customer by answering questions regarding a product on sale (of higher monetary value), going and checking the shelves for the product, bringing it back and then processing a sale with what sounded like a gift voucher and also credit card for a click and collect order. Whilst this was good customer service for the customer on the phone, I was standing waiting at the counter for over 5 minutes without so much as an acknowledgement and subsequently came close to walking out. When the shop assistant had finished on the phone and processed my sale my purchase took less than a minute to finalise. Whilst a sale is a sale, I would’ve thought it would’ve been easier and more efficient to process the quicker and more straightforward sale first, particularly if the customer is already there waiting even if it means the customer on the phone is placed on hold for 45 seconds.Prior to writing this review I took it upon myself to read some of the others and found them to be a little concerning and they highlight a few different issues regarding how this business is run, particularly online. I’ve worked in retail and customer service previously so I know what it can be like (and what some difficult customers can be like) however the responses from the owner to some of the negative reviews in my view are deplorable.I am glad to have found a different local small business with a fantastic range of products for babies, kids and mums in a beautiful, well thought out (pram friendly) space with lovely staff who are happy to go above and beyond in order to provide customer service that is second to none.

We went to Daisy and Hen Glenelg yesterday to get some sweet little items for our studio. We were served by Poppy who was the sweetest retail assistant ever! She was really knowledgable about the store and history and we just felt so welcome and we got some really cool items to feature. Thanks Poppy!

Paid $50 per mystery bag, most items came with no tags, all had $5 and $10 sale stickers on them and to top it off one arrived with a note on it saying black marks on sleeve" and sure enough there was a massive black smudge mark... can't wash it out as I've tried

A new favourite store to bookmark for online shopping from WA! I can’t comment on an in-store experience as so many have had, however my online experience was great! Smooth and quick to be shipped out. I fell in love with this store due to the variety of good quality brands they have for baby/toddler toys. I’ve been searching very wide online for Australian boutique stores for kids toys and this is by far one of the better ones with their inventory. Products arrived all safe and sound and look amazing in our little ones nursery - thank you!

Positives: quick to post out orders ,very impressed. Arrived within days!Negatives: Extremely disappointed with online returns policy. Received a credit for returning my items ( they don’t do refunds ) then redeemed the credit which I spent over $150 but due to applying the credit they had provided I was still charged shipping. I asked for a free shipping code as my transaction was well and truly over $120 but they declined.I love supporting small businesses but in this case I felt a tad cheated. Still excited to receive my daughters items just feel bummed at the experience.
