I recently visited the Fyshwick branch in Canberra as we are in the process of renovating our home. I was in the market for a new oven, dishwasher, rangehood and fridge and was ready to spend up big - I mean $20K as the oven we want is $10k. After waiting 20 min with no success I approached the front desk to ask for someone to provide a quote. I had all the names of the brands/makes of the products I wanted so and was ready to put a deposit.Finally a lady approached the front desk and proceeded to go into the Bing Lee website and frustratedly started writing down the codes of the products, and printed off a quote with the prices on the website. Didn't offer a discount or take it any further - just handed me a piece of paper with prices.While I waited another customer came to pick up an item he had purchased as he had received a phone call and a text message to be told they had contacted the wrong person and his item was still a month away though he had purchased it in March. As he was an elderly person he couldn't understand why he couldn't pick up his purchase as he had been advised in 2 different ways he could pick it up today. The lady who was serving him, was quite rude as well.I walked away and went to Harvey Norman next door who provided great service and hence got my business in which I spent $20k with them.

Recently picked up all our appliances for a kitchen reno. Staff were lovely to deal with from the start. Prices were competitive and shop was happy to manage order and store products until ready to start project. Took a lot of stress out of coordinating these purchases with kitchen going in.

Great service in the store! Excellent delivery service with the old washing machine and packaging removed and the new machine installed! All completed in a timely manner!

Bing Lee's return policy does not specify a return period. Now I know why: its so that if you do ever try to return an item, they can say that you've taken too long. I bought a Fisher & Paykel 10kg washer that (a) leaks from the front door when I wash a queen doona and (b) terminates with soaked, soapy laundry when loaded with towels. I began complaining about this 2.5 weeks after receiving the item, when the problems became apparent. Bing Lee sent a technician from the manufacturer who said that he's received lots of complaints about this model and there's nothing he can do. He advised me not to wash doonas and towels in it. Bing Lee's rep. said that they won't take the item back as it was not dead on arrival". Every time I do laundry

Please don't buy anything from Bing Lee. Their return policy is abnormal and it is highly unlikely that you can return your products. The return policy of other companies are much better. Luckily we are not buying big stuffs here.

Yesterday I bought sony xb43 Bluetooth speaker from Binglee Fyshwick. I was looked after by Daniel Anderson. He was very polite and efficient, one of the best customer services I received in long time. The speaker was way cheaper than harvy norman. In short good price and good service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought new front load Bosch washer online. They had delivery options including to remove your old machine for the best price compared with competitors online and in Canberra. They were able to deliver the same week (in fact next day if I needed) and I could book the delivery day online at time of purchase. The email on purchase was clear that service staff would confirm delivery. The Fyshwick store called me shortly after I placed my order to explain how delivery worked and confirm some details. On the day before as promised the delivery driver Brett called to indicate the delivery window and said he would confirm on the morning of delivery. On the morning of delivery, as promised, he confirmed the window again and that he would call right before he was due to arrive, which he also did. Delivery was on time and removing the old machine and installing the new one was done perfectly in spite of some challenges to work with in my space. Also Brett was knowledgeable about the product and explained basics to me! Not an expected part of the experience with a delivery when I bought online but great service. This was the best experience of online purchase with amazing service from Fyshwick Bing Lee. I would purchase all future large or small appliances here if they have the stock at best value, which they certainly did for this purchase. Thanks so much to all the staff who make a great experience for the customer! You guys deserve to be acknowledged.
