Oh my, where can I start? Ok let’s say when I found it this little gem over 10 years ago I was the happiest man & I occasionally invited my brothers & sisters from the Northern Suburbs to come here & the food was bloody tasty & must say bloody delicious no matter what we ordered & my family loved the food & flavours as well.So after a few months been unwell in & out of hospitals I finally got a chance of going to my gem, but soon as I stepped in I noticed some changes & different staff, when I was ordering I asked the lady behind the counter if it’s under new management & yes was the answer.Well I did order 2 Paper Dosa’s for my daughter & me but to our surprise the only part of the PAPER crisp on the dosa was the two ends & the red coconut chutney was sweet & watered down & same goes with the green chutney watered down but wasn’t sweet as the red & the sambal was like a dal vegetable curry & I did walk up to the lady behind the counter & let the lady know that the food wasn’t up to satisfactory to my daughter & me.Well before I started writing this review I just read a few reviews & I see that the owners reply’s to the reviews are much tastier & delicious than the food I consumed. Good luck New management & we wouldn’t be back! Sorry

I'm not a curry connoisseur but I must admit I was quite nervous tonight when my better half suggest us to have dinner here. I was thinking did you check the recent review?" However Im glad that I went anyway.So here is the verdict.We are very satisfied with our dinner there.We ordered:- rice + curry beef + chicken 65+ egg plant curry- Maggie mee goreng- roti plus curry with rendang- roti plus curry with chicken 65.Boy at first

We used to come here for lunch almost everyday to order the eggplant masala, after moving away we've tried numerous different places but always a disappointment.So after a long time we returned here to eat the eggplant masala and it still tastes the same as always.Very best in my opinion

Friday night headed to our local and the food is better than it used to be. We were surprised because the food was always nice but the added visual appeal, tastes and aromas are better now. I see great potential in this place. It could be something fantastic one day. We will certainly return.

I frequent this eatery for decades as I used to work not too far off from this eatery. It was good. Thought I shall check it out as it’s under the new management.I’m very very disappointed with this eatery. The glass panels are oily as, the prices are pretty steep for the serving I got compared to others! And they even missed giving me the papadums and so fore. I had to request for this and that. It’s overrated ..I won’t return as I got other better eateries to check out.

It's been a while since we went to Rich Mahal. The new owners have taken it to another level improving not just the taste and quality of the food but also presention of the food and of the restaurant. The lamb curry was a star. So good!

I think this place can really shine when they get their service right....a smiling face can go a long way and I haven't seen that with previous owners or new ones. Food is reasonably priced and tasty. Almost all food generally leaning towards the spicy side. prices have increased in general just like any other restaurant. A regular visitor.

Managed to return to this old favourite of mine after many years, and even though I see now that there are new owners, the food is as *authentic and delicious* as I remember.Nice large servings which justifies the price increase experienced all over the country, it is still good value.Staff were polite and when the owner took a turn at serving she was extremely helpful and polite and patient.May I make a suggestion that there be a way to get more fresh air through the dining area, to counteract the kitchen air of cooking?Love this street food style of Indian food and it’s hard to find a place which does it well, happy to see my old favourite still going strong.
