The Medical Shoppe Compounding Pharmacy

This place is a complete scam. The pharmacist who sold me a $60 typhoid vaccine failed to ask me if I was going to use it straight away with my doctor or later. He failed to tell me that it needed to be stored in the fridge if it wasn't going to be used straight away. I only found out when I took it to my doctor a few days later when my doctor advised me that the vaccine is no longer usable because it hasn't been stored in a fridge. I went back to the pharmacy and was served by a different pharmacist by the name of Louis Chiotis who was extremely rude and disrespectful. I explained to him what happened and asked if I could get a new vaccine but he refused to help and simply said 'it's your word against mine, you have no proof that the pharmacist who served you failed to advise you'. He was completely unprofessional and couldn't care less about customer service.Do not shop here! Looking at the previous review you'll see it's a common occurrence. I'll be filing an official complaint with Fair Trading and also lodging a dispute with my credit card company.You're better off going to Chemist Warehouse where they have return policies and are run by professional pharmacists who treat their customers with respect.The idiot who refused to help me just caused their business a lot of time and money now that they have to deal with Fair Trading and my credit card company.

Most of the time customers and patients are satisfied with our service, with some being customers for over 25 years. WARNING - PLEASE CHECK THE EXPIRY DATES BEFORE PURCHASING MEDICINE FROM THIS PHARMACY! Recently I brought medication from this pharmacy and only after taking a pill I realised that the medicine was due to expire in 2 days!! This is totally unacceptable practice. Surely they should have brought it to my attention.I decided to go back and exchange it, however when I got there, I was treated with uttermost disrespect. First of all, they failed to acknowledge that the medication was about to expire in 48 hours, and secondly not only did they refused to exchange it for me, they was extremely rude and arrogant.I will report this issue to the Department of Health - luckily I checked the expiry date, had I not done so, and consumed it after the expiry date, who knows what could have happened.As advised - PLEASE CHECK THE EXPIRY DATES BEFORE PURCHASING MEDICINE FROM THIS PHARMACY

The pharmacists and staff have been provided great services to my family for over a decade. They are very helpful and informative.

Best pharmacy in this area by far. Treat you like family and that includes telling you not to take some medicines! Who does that these days?

pharmacist was arrogant and entitled, overstepped boundaries and needs to learn how to keep comments to himself. very upsetting experience.

Went in because I have had a problem diagnosed as Lichen Planus on my lips by my dentist and the product he asked for was no longer made.Very nice pharmacist offered to make it for me from scratch, he even added an extra ingredient which he promised would help fix it. Within 3 days it was almost totally gone, after 10 days my lips were back to normal. Thanks Louis

Such a rude and poor customer service.When I was asking about something what he replied was I don't know who you are and what are you talking about?Is this the way you talk to customer when someone is about to ask something?

I have known these guys for forever. they are always polite, engaged, professional and helpful. i am yet to have a bad experience, i doubt very much that i ever will. they are amazing!

I have been fortunate enough to come across this great little pharmacy whilst attending the local GP clinic upstairs years ago...All the staff in there are always professional and quite often pass on valuable and extremely helpful information when needed...heck...they even helped to deliver my prescription home a few times over the covid19 lockup doing so after finishing work on their way home! how great was that! coupled by my choice with an awesome Dr Stephen Howe upstairs at the Healthpac Medical Centre you simply cannot go wrong! seriously...please don't bother with anyone else...if you are not well or need any medical help i totally and completely/highly recommend both these places as my trusted medical suppliers!
