Linger A While Chalet

A beautiful private chalet set amongst the rainforest within easy walking distance to Gallery Walk and Monkey Tree Bar. A private external balcony, gas heater, air conditioner, microwave and appliances. Large 4 poster bed made this stay very comfortable. Trish was a great help with our couple of pesky questions. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We stayed at the “Linger a while” chalet for my birthday surprise 1 night getaway, it was tucked away in a beautiful, secluded, rainforest setting right on the busy gallery walk. It’s a very touristy street with lovely quirky gift shops all within walking distance.Inside the chalet, the four poster bed was romantic, high and comfy… and the spa bath was heavenly with multiple jets to give a great massage, with the TV positioned high enough for both myself in the bath and hubby in bed to watch together! He said he could even watch from the shower!It was stocked with some good dvds also.The fire was fantastic, however it only had enough gas for around a couple of hours in the afternoon, when we went to put it on again later that night it wouldn’t light, which was disappointing as we had loved the ambiance… although stormy that night, it wasn’t very cold and the blankets were sufficient so it wasn’t a dealbreaker.All in all this was a lovely place to stay, especially if you’re keen for a bit of relaxation &/or romance.I would definitely recommend pairing it with a visit to thunderbird park just down the road or doing the skywalk.There were lots of wonderful bush walks in rainforests nearby and Curtis Falls was an easy walk & gorgeous as well.Thanks Trish for getting us sorted with check in and thank you also for such an easy & wonderful stay; 5 Stars!

Lovely quaint little cottage,tucked away behind gallery walk. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but everyone has a unique opinion about bed type.

Oh my goodness this place is beautiful. A quiet private chalet amongst the rainforest, with a fire and spa bath. Its just a few steps away from the gallery walk with coffee, sweets, wine, and so much more. Absolutely in love.

This is an amazing place and perfect to escape the daily grind. The spa bath was a lovely surprise and the whole experience was so relaxing. We highly recommend this place and will definetly be back. Thankyou so much to Trish and Cal for providing such lovely amenities.

Was visiting my sister who was saying here...ideal place. Has absolutely everything you need for a stay. Very homey and warm.

Nice location and very compfy bed. However 3 ceiling lights weren't working and only one fork in the draw and the microwave didn't work properly. Not up to standard for an expensive unit.
