Absolutely serene, peaceful and fantastic place for hikes close by to Melbourne. Be engulfed by the beauty and nature Melbourne surrounds have to offer here.

A nice little picnic ground located in the Dandenong Ranges National Park, 41km east of Melbourne. It has short bush walks for families, bird feeding and picnic areas. The place can get quite busy on weekends and parking may be an issue. But still worth a visit. The birds are so used to bring hand fed they land in your shoulder or head. The walking tracks have nice eucalypts and ferns and are an easy walk relatively flat walks.

Nice place to walk ...shop and restaurant on site and picnic and bbq areas..can get pretty full at times though

Great place to stop and relax and have a bite to eat, explore and relax in the bush. Don’t feed the birds :)
