Great spot, always friendly, rooms always clean, bathrooms could do with an update soon, we will keep coming back though!

SummaryYes I read the reviews which is why I’m writing this. I found this place last minute and it had everything I needed and more. I showed up to reception at 9pm and called Robyn’s mobile from the door. She came down and got me into a room quickly. Thank you for your fantastic service and care! I checked out at 10am and continued driving. For a 3 star Motel: the price, location, service and quality - excellent choice. 10/10 I would stay here again.Halfway MotelThis motel is Halfway between Melbourne and Sydney. I was driving from Victoria via Leongatha to north NSW coast as Hume highway got flooded. Eden is also my half way driving point exactly 5.5 hours. Make sure you get petrol at Cann River - it’s 200 forest with next petrol station in Eden. Double story motel with a cute BBQ area outside.LocationPerfect - Driving from Victoria you will come to Ampol petrol station, this motel is across the road from it. Coles across the road, pub up the street , 15 min walk to water. The trade off being on a Main Street and close to everything is noise, it’s not too bad and doesn’t bother me.You the travellerYou need a place to sleep and relax, you are a heavy sleeper, don’t mind noise or are super organised and brought ear plugs with you (no stress, grab a pair from Coles).DinnerIt’s a small town. Even though it was Friday night I arrived bang on 8 so all the kitchens everywhere were close. I went to Coles grabbed a coup and ready meal to microwave and breakfast.The roomClean, comfy, dated but not too much. It feels warm and cosy with lamps on. It has a bench area you can prepare your meal, sit and eat with two chairs.AmenitiesHas everything you need: Microwave, toaster, fridge, plates, bowls, coffee mugs, glasses, cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar, Extra 2 pillows and blanket, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, air conditioner/heater split system, tv, free wifi

Ok so this is the worst reviewed hotel I've booked so far, so was a bit nervous but it was completely fine for the price. The room was dated yes but it was very clean and comfortable. I couldn't hear noise from other rooms but did hear a bit of outside noise, it was quiet overnight though. The location is excellent and walking distance from most shops plus has Coles across the road. The only issue I had was when I showed up at 3pm no one was in reception. I called the number and the guy said he'd be back in 20min but it was half an hour. If he'd told me half an hour that would have been fine but it was annoying to leave and come back, and reception still not open, hence the -1 star.

Great cosy hotel, excellent customer service, accommodated an after hours check in with no fuss! With clean white sheets! Rooms are clean and tidy, could be time for a little cosmetic update. Over all a great place to stay a few nights.

Ignore the good reviews. This a run down motel waiting to be demolished. Rooms are pokey and the facilities non existent.

It was ok. Robert who checked use in was great. Super friendly and helpful. The units themselves are ok. Everything was clean and the linen felt good. The sink in the bathroom is tiny as is the TV both of which is a little disappointing. I didn't like the pillows as one was to thin and two too thick and soon didn't sleep well. Can't make people happy can you? It wasn't cheap and was expensive...

Toilet leaked constantly over the bathroom floor, smelly room. Towels were so old and shower so run down I didn’t feel comfortable enough to shower!! Just glad the door locked to be honest. Also my TV seemed to have a mind of its own with the volume changing randomly to mute or 100. And check out… it’s like they knew and just locked reception door for us all to leave without complaining to their faces. So here I am on google. Never again.
