Koondrook Retreat

Wonderful experience, amazing setup with great potential. Certainly the best tent I’ve ever stayed in, with an incredible outlook, great pub & cafe within walking distance.

We are not campers but the glamping tent at the Koondrook Retreat was very nice.It had everything in it that you could possibly want. Bed was low to the floor but very comfortable.The new manager was very nice & very easy to deal with.It was so quiet & peaceful.Lots of birdlife and birdsong.The shampoo and conditioner and handbasin all smelled lovely.Would highly recommend.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Koondrook retreat not once, but twice within a month. We absolutely loved everything about our experience. The amenities were top-notch and the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The serene surroundings were a true delight, especially waking up to the sound of birds while sipping our morning coffee on the porch.While we already had high expectations, the addition of the Willy Light to the bathroom was a truly special touch. This clever device picks up your movement and provides a soft red or green glow, making it easy to navigate to the toilet during the night or early morning. It was a small but thoughtful detail that made a big difference in our overall comfort.We are already looking forward to our next visit and can't recommend this place enough. Thank you to the staff at Koondrook retreat for making our stays truly memorable.

Fabulous location right on the banks of Gunbower Creek. The tents are way beyond expectations - clean, well set out, everything you need is provided. There is nothing we did not like about this place. Really impressed and will definitely be back!

We went with a bunch of friends who booked another tent . It was fantastic . Enough room for the families to feel separated yet easy enough to share the view and have our feasts together along the river . Tents are immaculate . Very clean and modern .

We didn’t really know what to expect but it exceeded all our expectations. We would definitely recommend and come back again.
