SWG STUDIO

I assisted SWG Studio with their residential project as a short-term casual Junior-Architectural Assistant.They are passionate and knowledgable about design,warm and friendly.I learnt and gained a valuable insight to the design industry during my term there whilst also expanding my knowledge on Planning Permit preparation. Santoso was very thorough and detailed in guiding through the process from initial site measure through to schematic and planning process.It was thoroughly rewarding learning from Santoso’s experience as his view of being a creative mind in more than just one field has been an inspiration for me as a graduate in architectural design.

Working with SWG Studio on a new shop & visitor centre for St.Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne Australia. Design development including resolving issues to do with security, merchandising and presentation and instore traffic flow. The project required extensive documentation for Heritage Victoria as the cathedral buildings are over 125 years, and the relevant permit was obtained. Excellent coloured renderings were provided for submission to the cathedral governing body, the Chapter for their review and approval for the project. A very thorough, professional and friendly team to work with, who brought the project to life in 2021.

As a builder in the industry for over 45 years, refreshing to work with someone who listens and understands how projects are constructed. Santoso has a vast knowledge in all aspects of architecture and design from modern through to Heritage. Documentation and plans are very well detailed and results are first class.It is a great pleasure to work with Santoso and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his professional services .

I have collaborated with SWG studio on a couple of competitions and worked on producing renderings for presentations as a team. It was pleasant working together with Santoso as he was very passionate about design, patient, kind and thorough in guiding me through producing the best results possible. It was always an enjoyable learning process and I've gained valuable design insights with every project I've worked through with him.

We engaged SWG Studio to renovate and extend our over 80 year old house.At all times SWG impressed us from planning to the construction stage as being very professional, extremely innovative in their designs and very easy to work with.The quality of their drawings and documentation have been exemplary.The design and quality of the finished product is outstanding with the attention to design detail, resulting in a house that is a joy to live in.Based on our experience I would highly recommend SWG Studio
