If the female is cooking, it's OK. If the male is cooking then stay away because he absolutely does not know how to cook the chicken. I received rock-hard coated distasteful chicken that I sadly had to throw away. He re-batters it after cooking it.

Mushroom smelled burnt and tasted pretty bitter. Ended up throwing them out. The chicken and tofu were not bad but doesn’t come with basil like traditional Taiwanese fried chicken.

Hot star never disappoints, always go here for the best friend chicken, fried tofu, fried eggplant and fried Lotus stem... Their salts are amazing and three extra spicy is really really spicy.. Try at your own risk. This store was super clean and the staff for my order in no time. Only suggestion is try and get rid of the single use plastic bags please

I came in around 7pm on 6/11/22 and was absolutely appalled at their customer service. I ordered an original fried chicken which I’ve had myself plenty of times before, however what I received was not up to the standard that I would expect. The chicken was too spicy and tasted burnt, not only that but there was more breadcrumbs than chicken. When I went back into the store to see if I could have it remade or even get a refund they said there was nothing they can do whilst laughing in my face at the same time. I felt so humiliated and sick to stomach that they treated me like this. My response to this is to whoever runs this store please train your staff to take your customers seriously and at least give your customers respect. Definitely will not be coming back.

The best tender juicy chicken I've ever had, put all the other fast food chains to shame. Keep up the good work Guys

Yummy yet even the most mild was extremely hot. We had wings, nuggets and breast piece. Nice!

Grabbed a quick crispy chicken bite in evening. Reasonable prices.

Great value for money for very tasty and generous portion of fried chicken. Not sure what magical seasoning they use but it is good. Highly recommended!
