I should've taken pics. Venue locality is amazing. Staff are nice. The pizzas are only OK, though. Capricciosa was good, but the La Madia only had 5 half prawns on it, less cut cherry tomatoes, and some slivers of green. I know bases are always soft, but this was really soft. It's a shame. The pics and ratings looked so good.I also got the tiramisu. It was virtually tasteless. Clean, yes. Flavourful, no.An unfortunate experience.

Had a spectacular dinner out with friends tonight at La Madia! Great location, excellent service, fantastic pizzas with absolutely perfect dough! Have worked in several pizzerias and can say that the meals were superb and worth the drive to Clovelly. Will def be back with friends and family :)

We were curious to try what the newly opened pizzeria had to offer and we were not dissapointed. Firstly, the pizza bases were done just right, being light and crispy and thin. The toppings were fresh and flavoursome with no grease in sight. Importantly also, the staff were pleasant and polite and the pizzeria is simple, but very clean and tidy. This is a great new addition to the neighbourhood, highly recommended!

As an Italian I can say that I had one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Very friendly staff , they make you feel at home . Fast service and very fresh ingredients. One of the few things I will miss about Sydney ? The pizza and the atmosphere at La Madia. Number one. I recommend it !

If you’re going to order takeaway forget about it, I think it is best to sit in the restaurant in order to get food. Twice now I have ordered over the phone to be told it will be 30 minutes only to find when I went down to the restaurant both times my order hadn’t even started to be made. The second time, I actually called at the house for an hour mark and was told the five minutes so I waited 10 minutes and went down, only to find out again that they had not even started making the pizza.The guys working at the place but have no idea the phone and delivery orders with numbers at the restaurant. All customers really want is a realistic time frame and a lot of the hassle. That’s why I say perhaps dining in where they can see you are waiting. I might be the way to go..

(On 26 Jan) My friend and I walked in and were not welcomed or asked where we’d like to sit. When we asked if we could take a seat outside, they seemed unhappy despite there being many seats available. At the counter we once again had to initiate the order. The pizza was authentic but hardly had more than 2.5 prawns on it. Overall I was confused and disappointed.

It is the best Pizza in the Eastern Suburbs. Definitely the best in Clovelly.So glad we tried this place. Perfectly cooked - we had the prosciutto and the truffle pizza which were both amazing. Will be back very soon.

Very good and authentic pizza! The crust is perfect, thin-style. Friendly pizzaiolo and staff. One of, if not the best pizza in the East!
